One big negative - This Dolphins team with Ireland at the helm and with one of the most unwatchable, boring offenses in the league is downright hate-able. If I weren't "married" to this team, and was a brand new fan searching for an NFL team, I think the Dolphins would be the very last on my list.
Neither. Just ridiculous posts like this one, lead me to believe something like that must be going on.

Sorry no grannies in my life .... maybe Ireland can draft one , trade up for her , redshirt her for you ?
Umm, we definitely do not. We were 1-15 when Ireland took over. Do we have holes? Absolutely, and probably a couple more than we should, but to say we have more holes than before Ireland is asinine. The negativity has reached an embarrassing level.
yeah, let's see, we won 1 game in 2007. We won 2 games verse playoff teams this year including possibly the hottest team in the NFL. If this team is less talented than the 2007 one Ireland was brought onto, then the old team wouldn't have lost their jobs to the new team.
The lack of perspective and football knowledge has reached an embarrassing level, anyway. Our record was 1-15, but many of those losses were due to poor coaching rather than lack of talent. Injuries also played a big role. Nor were we as good as the 11-5 record we put up the next year, which had a lot to do with schedule, the injury to Tom Brady and the addition of the Wildcat. The following season we reverted to a more realistic record and we've hovered around that mark since. And we still have holes at many of the same places as we did when we were 1-15.
my list of negatives ... - Long's dropoff ... just not supposed to happen this quickly, but has been steady over the last 3 years in conjunction with his injuries. - Lack of development in our WRs and DBs .... our 'older' developmental WRs are all gone (less Moore, who'll likely be gone this year); hopefully, this next group of Binns, Matthews, and Fuller will produce something. same for our developmental DBs .... Carroll, Amaya, and Wilson have yet to blossom .... Jones made nice progress THIS year and Clemons improved as well. For the DBs - was it poor coaching?? or just a lack of football IQ?? because they all seemed to have the physical tools to be succesful. Actually, Jones was supposed to be 'too slow' ... go figure ....
