I still have nightmares about Olivadoodi!!! Our defenses were fukin pathetic during his tenure. You're definitely right about Offerdahl. The guy was a beast. The problem was he was always getting injured.

I'm disgusted by the fact Saban is considered worse than Wanndouche.

Worrell does not compare to Judson for shame. Nor to Sammie Smith or Olivadotti.

In terms of harm done to the franchise per year of tenure, no one even approaches the Pornstache.

    Back in Miami
It's amazing to me how this gets overlooked by some.
He was a Nuclear holocaust to this franchise.

Glad to see he picked up ground and made the finals!

Kumerow was IMO an example of Shula trying to stick a round peg in a square hole. He was desperate for pass rush, and IMO visions of another Ted Hendricks danced in Don's head. Eric should have been drafted to play 4-3 DE, and rumor was that Mike Ditka planned to take him with the next Bears pick had Shula not taken him. Don tried him first as a 3-4 OLB and he was like a fish out of water at that spot. Later they moved him to 3-4 DE, but played him mainly on passing downs. He was too light in the pants to 2 gap in run defense.
BLESTO, the scouting combine that Miami belonged to at the time, ranked Eric as the #2 DE in the draft, after Neil Smith of Nebraska, taken like 2nd or 3rd by the Chiefs. Trouble was, he was not suited to play anywhere in a 3-4 scheme.

I also nominate the official pro shop for selling a Brand NEW Legedu Naanee Jersey...what? (Yeah, go check it out) Not to mention all the "New" merch they're selling (they linked on facebook) will be on clearance when the new logo comes.

Dave Wannstedt was in the same league as Barry Switzer. Wannstedt had initial success with talent left him by Jimmy Johnson, Switzer had initial success with talent also left him by Jimmy Johnson. Wannstedt has the unique record of leaving two teams in shambles, Chicago and Miami after taking both teams over with a good roster and having some initial success. He still gets a lot of credit from certain circles because of his winning records he enjoyed with Jimmy Johnson's roster he had assembled. While doing so he let the cupboards run bare and created the tailspin the Dolphins have never recovered from.

I've never really understood this criticism re: having success with players left by JJ. Wannstedt and Switzer were, first and foremost, coaches, not GMs (although Wanny did have personnel power for a time). Coaches aren't responsible for getting the talent, they are responsible for winning with it regardless of where it came from. It's also interesting to me that nobody ever points out that JJ won at UM largely with talent left over by Schnellenberger, e.g., Kosar, Testaverde, Irvin, BeBlades, BrBlades, Perriman, Highsmith, Bratton, Stubbs, JBrown, WMoss, etc.
