Not really. Their cap is usually in good shape as even their fans acknowledge they arent exactly free spenders....

That is all it legally can be, according to league rules. teams cannot openly express interest in other team's pending free agents before the free agency period opens,

 

I think having an experienced WR who is familiar with Philbins expectations could benefit a young developing rookie like RT. If Philbin likes him then you make him a fair offer and hope that he finds it acceptable.

Same. I was so blindly confident about Flynn coming here because of the 'sense' it made (atleast at the time), and all the 'clues'.... whether I wanted him here or not. I was just so sure he was gunna be here, and boom here we are. So i'm not really going to hold my breath with any assumptions on this one.

I'd guess at least 75% of the active members of this forum are finheaven refugees. Most people never mention their profession or occupation, but lawyers seem to for some reason. I can think of at least 6 who profess to be lawyers, so maybe saying half the members was a slight exaggeration.

I think it's because there are so many everyday applications that when you're discussing something you almost have to give yourself that aura of accreditation. Same reason a lot of guys start off posts "Well I'm no X but..."

Or maybe it's because we're all very insecure. I'm still fresh in the field but I'd go with the latter :P

Flynn wasn't. Everyone was all hyped on him because of one game. One game! Then you look at the game and you see normal passes turned into great TD plays because of the WR.
