Miami Dolphins: Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
It's a bit shocking that the Dolphins didn't obtain a safety in the 2012 NFL Draft. Yeremiah Bell was cut earlier this offseason, but all they found as a potential replacement was the mediocre Tyrell Johnson. Now, Chris Clemons is a free agent, so if he walks, Miami will have to find someone talented to play next to Reshad Jones.

Kenny Vaccaro is the consensus top player available. He has a shot to sneak into the top 10; there's been some speculation that the Lions will consider him at No. 5, but I think the Jets at No. 9 are a more realistic option.

    1 - Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
2a - Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
    2b - Bildi Wreh-Wilson, CB, Uconn
3a - Stedman Bailey, WR, WV
    3b - Justin Pugh, G/OT, Syracuse
    4 - William Gholston, DE/DT, Michigan State

I would be pretty happy with this draft (ignoring who we may be passing on at a few picks), though I am unfamiliar with the Uconn corner.

I think a lot of those guys get picked before they get to where you want them.

Glennon to the bills in the top 10... Lol.

Kenny is a super aggressive player, sometimes too much, he'll take bad angles at times because he's always looking for kill shots, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it does get him in trouble..Plays with his speed on the field, all or nothing type results, great passion for the game, never takes a play off, and is the new type character player I would like in this town..But I couldn't pull the trigger at 12..

I know Rafs love the new safety breed, fast, aggressive, the position is high priority for him, wonder about his thoughts on this one?

What if we traded down for him? I actually love his physical style of play, something that we're missing in Miami, and wouldn't be opposed if we picked him. His coverage is pretty good too.

Updating my previous statement, I don't hate the set of picks..mostly just the first round pick. Would be alright with it if we moved back a bit for him.

    Well away from here
I'd do it, given the division we are in and the likely offense we will face within our own division let alone some of the better offenses in the NFL. If you use him like he was in Texas he could be a guy that makes it much harder to spread us out as we have an extra guy on the field who can cover and support the run, whihc is becoming a bit less important.
