Well navy blue is not a good color for South Fla.....what are these people thinking ? Just leave the colors alone - all white for games here in Miami and maybe on the road, but if they do navy blue for home games they have completely lost their minds.

The Marlins no longer have teal in their color scheme. So it's still a mystery unless we know if he was talking about the old Marlins color scheme or the new Miami Marlins color scheme.

Please put lots of 100spf on him, he may be able to spend all day in the sun but could pay for it late in life, even with his life. Melanoma skin Cancer is the deadliest form of cancer. He's your son, you gotta protect the little guy.

On topic so glad you enjoyed and saw so much, thanks for sharing with us. Someday I have to do that, when I'm not so broke. I have to really wonder what was in the box Sherman put in his car, maybe film?

    Here and there
Just thinking out loud, but it sounds like the guy was just trying to give Canes an idea of the color change by using the simular colors that the Marlin use being the aqua and orange. IMO of Canes explanation, it doesnt sound like yellow or black would be involved. Maybe Navy instead of black or the yellow.. BUT thats just my interpretation of what was said. Trust me when i first read that i had some pretty bad images going through my head..

My gut feeling is that the colors are going to be very similar to the Dolphin Stadium logo:

I saw where someone on the FH board supposedly not only confirmed the color change but did make note that the navy blue was also going to lighten up a bit.

RT cannot run a successful read option offense, he is not athletic or talented enough to do it. A scramble now and then ? Sure but no defense in the NFL would lose sleep game planning against Tannehill running a read option offense. Trying to be fair but IMO the jury is still out on RT.

Can he throw the deep ball ? sure. Can he actually put it in receicvers hands deep on a consistent basis ? Not sure. In his defense we did not have much of a deep passing threat, receiver wise.

On Sherman designing the offense to Limit RT ? Bunk, what you saw is Shermans Jacked up way of running a football game. Its no different then what he ran in GB with the exception as I said he had Farve and Ahman Green at RB. Sherman attempted to use Reggie Bush the same as he used Ahman Green.
I guess people realize now Bush, although talented, is not a great running back unless you call every 4 or 5 games making an impact against teams with a lesser defense. We get some decent fast receivers in here you are going to see Sherman go deep on 3rd and 1 from insane parts of the field.

Sherman tends to abandon what is working well and goes to make or break plays, sometimes 3 times in a row. Usually with no success. Sherman never uses a tight end as a weapon and never will. We could sign Jason Witt or Gronkowski and they would immediately dissapear in his offense.

You may not be an X and O guy but I know you are smart. You recorded games, watch any team we played, any team. They absolutely do not defend the middle of the field after 5 yards from the LOS, No need to when Mike Sherman is running the show because he never has and never will, use the middle of the football field. You can startle defenses with play action when Farve is under center and a RB like Ahman green is in the backfield. Its entirely different when Tannehill is under center, Hartline is the top receiver and Reggie Bush is the RB. Sherman does not see that, never did, did not see it when he was canned and went to Houston, same when he went to coach in college.

Tannehill has to get used to running some play action. His fakes are horrendous. our RBs are horrendous ( with exception of maybe Miller if they ever give him a chance ) Shermans pet project of a tank sized fullback is useless, the kid cannot block an artery.

Others will say whats this doing in a post about the facility. You asked, I gave opinion and all know how I feel about Mike Sherman. I would love to meet you at the facility this summer and sit down and look you in the eye and tell you what some in very respected positions feel about Mike Sherman. The man is a face of stone. He has the personality of a sea sponge. He has an ego the size of the Empire State building. Regardless of where he has been fired, regardless of how many times his offense fails, regardless that every defensive co ordinator in the NFL does not lose sleep on how to defend against Sherman, regardless if the planet earth splits in half, Mike Sherman will never change. Fans will come to realize that this year.

How many times last year did you see us come down field successfully on short passes, some runs but down field quickly only to get around the other teams 40 with a first down and BAM 3 long passes to the end zone, how many times ? Welcome to the fuzzy world of Mike Sherman. Abandon whats working and go into la la mode and Joe Philbin is not changing this guy anytime soon. If Philbin did not give him a chance to coach because of their former relationship, believe me, Mike Sherman would be on the unemployment line. All will see if he is still here this year.

I for one am so ready for color change and frankly any team that would wear all white game after freaking game desrves to lose every game.

i bet the aqua unis were worn once or twice so theall whiite unis sux so bad its almost tragic . whit is a great baseball or basketball but football teamthat only wear white look so much slower on the tube.

i wonder why a bi color jersy is a bad idea look at the Titains , cowboys and Cardinals. white with orange bicolor would look slick.

if it was me I would be really excited if Miami wore medium blue instead of navy blue . orange and a light teal would look ok but navy blue just looks too common.

light teal and dark gray might look ok but the all aqua is my favorite .

    Sounds like he was right.

So the blue will be more of a sea blue. Maybe it will be like the old light colored aqua we used to wear or it will take on that blue color the Marlins have...or something close to it.

I actually worked at LaSpada's one summer while in high school. I was supposed to be the first employee at the Univ. Drive location, but they had some permitting problems and it didn't open until after the summer, so I worked at the original Laud. By the Sea location. Pretty much smelled like hoagies all summer. The ones I made for myself when working were true sandwich masterpieces.

Waiting for what, a sandwich masterpiece? I haven't worked there in more than 25 years and even if I did, art like that cannot simply be recreated.

Looking at our sig and it looks like the color of that football is going to be pretty close to our new colors. That ocean blue is pretty close to that.

The Marlins don't have a true aqua in their team colors. It's teal and similar to the Jags teal.

    That makes two of us.

No reason to meddle with anything but the roster.
It's weak they are trying to revive the franchise with cosmetic changes.
It's the least of what this organization needs.

I have not had a good feeling about their tinkering from the beginning.
Screwing with the colors is even worse.
They have had a one of a kind unique color scheme. Now I'll bet they go the route of so many other teams. Navy and a baby blue probably.
Unique team aspects flushed down the toilet. Wonder if they consulted anyone at all in the marketing industry for insight on this move of theirs. I'd doubt it.

I never said the Marlins had true aqua in their team colors, though. What I was getting at was if the guy at the Pro Shop said the colors "resembled" the Marlins colors, it probably meant the Dolphins were shifting back to a more blueish look that was a lot closer to a true aqua than what they're wearing now.

They were different each day. Some favorites were turkey and capicola and roast beef and capicola. With everything (except mustard). The art was in the perfect proportions and distribution of the toppings. Used a little more meat than usual and in the very important "meat cap."
