    Back to Basketball.

The Knicks have steadily improved as a team, even though they are winning at a lessor rate than before.

I don;t care about standings. I like to see how a team is playing.

The Knicks have kept their Off. Eff. Up while adapting their offense and shooting less threes. (both are good things)

They have also drastically improved their rebounding, and their defensive rebounding is the best in the league.

Their defense is the only thing that has lagged, but they are built for some success at the expense of offensively challenged teams such as Chicago and Indiana.

Becoming clearer that a Heat vs. Knicks ECF is inevitable. Personally..I still like Chicago but they need Rose healthy for me to like them top get past the Knicks. Health is key.

    Bring it.

At least the Knicks have an entertainment factor and are our longstanding rivals.

I don't think I could take 5-7 games against the douchenozzles from Indiana. Hard to believe that such a vanilla organization has become my most hated.

Additionally when amare has been healthy no one on the bulls has really shown they can guard amare 1-1. Hopefully amare is healthy and continues to improve his post game. Gonna need him beasting vs Chicago and hopefully Miami

To a certain degree, yes. But I think there is a lot of truth to what he is saying about Howard. Ad he isn't the only one. Steve Nash has subtly called him out, as has D'Antoni a d even World Peace to a degree (calling Dwight hurt, not injured).

Kobe may lack tact, and rub people the wrong way, but there is merit to what he is saying. Besides the Lakers and Celtics, I don't know if there is another franchise in the NBA that would deem anything less than a Championship season, a complete failure. You can make a case for the Heat due to the talent of LeBron, Wade and Bosh, it even then, that mentality is fostered by Pat Riley, who was birthed out of the Lakers mindset. And even though it will be unpopular, The Heat don't have the juice that the Celtics and Lakers hold in the NBA.

I am not taking ANYTHING away from them, mind you.

Small taste of what it was like to be a NYK fan for the last decade. Don't worry, sticking with a crappy team builds character

    Per Rotoworld and ESPN...

Sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein the Bulls and Raptors have had preliminary talks about a trade that would send Carlos Boozer to Toronto for Andrea Bargnani.
While we can't help but laugh at the idea of Bargnani under defensive-minded coach Tom Thibodeau, his 3-point shooting would definitely help the Bulls once Derrick Rose (torn ACL) returns. Meanwhile, Boozer would help fill a role vacated when the Raptors sent F Ed Davis to Memphis in the Rudy Gay deal. It's important for Boozer and Bargnani owners to remember the word "preliminary" when thinking about Stein's report, but it could be a deal that helps both players' fantasy values

Rough yr for Lakers fans, wonder if Magic fans are watching their mediocre team thinking

"At least we are not the Lakers"

But knowing how the NBA works..Howard will still receive a massive contract.

Heat and Knicks playing really well, Bulls and Pacers hanging around without Rose and Granger respectively.
    Run down of the east:
    1. Miami - Coasting like they usually do.
    2. NYK - Amar'e learning jump hooks and turnaround jumpers is scary. Playing better as a 6th man. Shump is back. Melo playing at MVP level.
    3. Indiana - Paul George playing ridiculous. Danny Granger is either coming back as a 2 guard or trade bait cause Paul George might be T-Mac with defense.
    4. Bulls - Biding their time til Rose comes back. Rumor of Boozer for Bargnani is laughable since Thibideau would eat that kid alive.
    5. Brooklyn - Deron playing well after Avery Johnson got fired. Brook still cant rebound.
    6. Atlanta - Josh Smith trade rumors will be an interesting deadline storyline. Jeff Teague and Horford playing great.
    7. Boston - Rondo out for year (ACL) but Pierce and KG wont let this team just retire.
    8. Milwaukee - Jennings having his best year. No defense in backcourt. Ilyasova playing well after Skilies got canned. Larry Sanders leading world in blocks.
    9. Philly - Bynum hasnt played a game. Jrue playing awesome. Thaddeus Young is out for a while.
    10. Detroit - Getting Calderon gives them a real pass first PG. Monroe and Drummond are a solid duo to build around.
    11. Toronto - Adding Rudy Gay for Calderon and Ed Davis may get them that 8 seed even though Gay was having a bad year in memphis. Lowry-Derozan-Gay-Bargnani-Jonas Valunicias (I know I butchered that) is a gonna be a team next year.
    12. Cleveland - Kyrie and Waiters are bright spots with Verajao out for the year (ACL). Tristan Thompson finally playing like a lottery pick last 2 months.
    13. Orlando - Half their rotation is hurt now (Redick, Big Baby, Al Harrington, Affalo). Nelson playing great and Vucevic has had flashes.
    14. Washington - Wall and Beal are only bright spots
    15. Charlotte - Kemba playing well. Thats about it.

Nice run down. One on the WC would be awesome as well. I see the Lakers are as bad as we thought they would be. My Sixers have somehow managed to stay in the playoff race despite horrendous offense. With Bynum set to return this month maybe I won't have to return to see too much vomit inducing offense and he can manage to finish out the year healthy... Or maybe not. Still it's great to see Jrue living up to his potential.

Basically you and everyone else who screamed the 76ers are better than the Knicks, should be bloated on Crow.

In all seriousness I need some crow myself, I thought Evan Turner was going to break out this year...he showed flashes last season. This year just not coming together for him.

A sure fire way to beat the Heat? Use Biological weapons.

The Heat essentially have the flu.

Ray Allen, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, and Udonis Haslem are gametime decisions with the flu tonight.

Wasnt pretty but with Melo's 36 leading them the NYK get Woodson his 50th win in 72 games as NYK HC. Fastest NYK coach to 50 wins ever.

meanwhile....no Bosh..No Allen...we are up 32 in the 3rd and Bron sits a third of the game because it's over by then.

Nice of the Clippers to bring back EVERYBODY for this game though. Just means that Paul, Griffin, Billups, Crawford, and Odom got to share in that *** whoopin'.

Im a movie buff so a small tribute to Man of Steel that comes out this summer. I change my sigs often, as munch as I liked Novak n JR it got old.

And Lebron James is the best all around basketball player I have ever seen. I'm upset I didn't get to watch him play one season in a Buckeye uniform.
