I noticed Chris Long's cap hit is now approx $2M less... but then I noticed my center's cap hit is $2m more.. .I stopped there and said what is the point. Obviously.. if there's a glaring mistake that is one thing... but if it's a restructure that has recently taken place, you can't change that #. Present your evidence to GIK/Mach and let them ultimately decide. But there won't be too many and frankly it's probably not worth it, as mentioned above. I do request that any cap # changed by the GML admins should be posted in a separate thread just so everyone is aware, that seems fair no? Lastly... next year, I would like us to somehow implement penalties to teams trading high cap guys and/or then the team receiving the player should get a cap benefit because we assume the contract is restructured. I think you just use a generic % (like 20 percent) on both sides. Same with cutting a high salary guy. If we want to infuse some realism here... again next year....

Sure, but injuries have hampered him the first few years. This is less of a risk. With my bookend tackles an Tom Brady opening up the field, I feel CJ will do just fine...maybe even run for 2,000 yards in a season like he did a few years ago.

Since we have dead money numbers now easily accessible, it's likely we're going to use those. You'd just have to note it on your sheet, perhaps a section on it, or additional info with cuts. If I have time this weekend, I'm going to compile the new numbers to the old ones and see what the differences are for amusement purposes.

I don't think so. I move down one round to pick up Garcon and dump Pickett's salary. And in all honesty, L. James was never really on the table, it's just what I wanted and what I told you to see if you would sweeten your offer. SF was always pretty adamant about not dealing James, but rather Hunter.
