I know for sure Mando wears tinfoil hats to bed at night now. Lets see.

Its only been six days and this is the timeline.

Florida Senate comittee okays bill to renovate the stadium
3 days ago, Countys legislative committee does show any priority to the bill the State senate passed, so its basically put on the back burner
2 days ago Dolphins ask for a referrendum so the taxpayers can vote on the issue.

Today, Mando claims there is no interest from his " inside sources " That Ross has not demanded Ireland be a cheerleader to the fans on getting the vote approved ?

Mando LMAO, dude, this whole thing came about FRIDAY on the decision to put it to the voters.
Mando, after the way you have been reporting do you, or anyone else on the planet earth, really believe anyone inside the Dolphins organization ( besides the custodian or towel folding person) would really give you any legitimate information ?? If you realy believe that Mando then please, do us all a favor, give notice to the Herald on your resignation because Mando, nobody that is anybody inside the Dolphins organization is EVER going to give you inside info on anything. No one. They will speak to you but certainly not let on what their real thoughts are.

Its been 2 days since its been decided to put the renovations to a vote and you are pissed that Ross has not hired sky writers and scheduled a HUGE parade in Miami to get the fans votes on board ? Mando, get a life dude.

That was terribly written. I understand the point he was making but he gets to it in such an annoying and convoluted way.

Plus I think he's making it sound like there's a rift between the two sides when there really isn't. The football side won't feel pressured into making any big moves but that doesn't mean that they aren't willing to make big moves.

Is Armando criticizing them for this? They should be praised if this is the case.

Armandos and Omars problems are they think up all these imaginary scenarios and then put them in print when in fact they never have firm proof or knowledge of what is exactly going on.

I have been at many practices, I have read their work and as I posted many times, wondered if we were at the same practices. The ONLY reason people in the organization speak to them is because they HAVE to per the NFL.

Like I said, I have sat at practice then read crap Mando or Omar puts up and a lot of times it never even happened LOL.

There was something a few weeks back about Mando going to the Boston Globe. I laughed so hard I blew my morning coffee out my nose. Mando nor Omar aren't qualified to wash dishes at the Boston Globe. Could you imagine either of those two writing their crap/scenarios/imaginations about the Patriots up there ?

They would be canned in a week, maybe less.

The possible link of pursuing FA signings extra hard has already been suggested by several others. That the football side isn't taking the business concerns into account is very reassuring. I understand Armando wants lots of stuff to write about this offseason but the fact is the Dolphins have had their business side get involved in football decisions before, and that was one of the big reasons why Parcells and co got brought in, to fix the mess they left. Simply remembering the name Joe Bailey is enough to make my stomach turn.

No, the same old Dolphins would bring in big names, and expect that to be a solution.

Not a Ross fan. Nor an Ireland fan. This didn't add to that, but also hasn't softened that stance.

lol , always blaming the fanbase and media for the dolphins front office dysfuction. Thats what we are to the rest of the league, a dysfuctional franchise that has problems within the organization which goes all the way down to our football team and its the truth, which is why we have sucked *** and have been a laughing stock for decades now. Some can accept the truth, others choose to nitpick, il take the truth.

You don't even know what you're arguing here. If you were, you'd realize that Ireland and the "Football" side of things are actually giving the answers you WANT to hear.

You're saying "God this is the Dolphins what a sack of losers" when they are on opposite sides of an argument. How can you say BOTH are wrong when thats inherently impossible?

I did not say which side is right or wrong, now did i? what im saying is, as a franchise, they are all suppose to be on the same page, united as 1, but clearly that is not the case ever since mr stephen ross started running things. On another note, when your football team has not won a playoff games in what 2 decades now? maybe its smart to find talented players already whether it be in free agency or the draft, lock them up and win. , u take what you can get from where ever it be, the cfl, draft, free agency, blah blah, talent is talent. I dont understand how one gm can say free agency is not the answer but the cfl is?? Like i said, theres a clearly a vision out there with this team but it just doesnt "work". Ireland has been here for 5-6 years now and has had the title GM ever since he got here. He cannot put together a winning a team.

I don't see the link. But, I think there is synergy.

First, the Dolphins have $46 M and they have to get to 90% of the cap. So they will have to spend. That fits.

Second, I think they got to this point for the very purpose of rebuilding the team and should (hopefully) build in accord with Philbin's system. If that's what Ireland has in mind, then they should land some guys.

Third, if the Dolphins have half a brain, they will emphasize that they cannot do what the Marlins did. There can be no fire-sale because they have to remain at the roughly 90% salary cap threshold. And, they are forking over $200 M of their own money. So, it's not just about raping the public of tax funds. It's about building a better stadium and better team simultaneously.

We spend our time talking about what third-rate press hacks make up because nothing is happening yet; it's February. Come April, no one will bother to comment about what Mando or Omar write.

What I love about posters like you is that you can automatically tell who simply is unable to process most thought and objectively grade it, because they continuously post opinions and refer to them as "facts". It's like they skipped middle and high school.

Decades is plural....meaning more than one. A decade is ten years. So multiple decades is at least 1993. Not exactly sure how we were a laughing stock then til now. Way to over emphasize in order to make a false point.
