    ### He continues to advocate the Dolphins drafting Tennessee receiver Cordarrelle Patterson at No. 12, even though “he did not have dominating performances in a number of games.”

    ### He said there might be only two, maybe three first-round receivers (Patterson, Cal’s Keenan Allen and West Virginia’s Tavon Austin or Louisiana Tech’s Quinton Patton) but “you could see as many as six, seven go in the second or by early in the third round.”

    ### He said UF defensive tackle Shariff Floyd “is skyrocketing up the board” and defensive tackle “is flat out loaded” in the draft.

    ### Kiper has only two cornerbacks in the first round: Alabama’s Dee Milliner and Mississippi State’s Johnthan Banks, who presumably will buy a vowel after he gets his first NFL contract.

    ### UF safety Matt Elam “is deserving of being in the late first round discussion.”

Basically sounds like this draft has more talent on defense than offense in his view

I agree with Mel Kiper on a lot of things. Damontre Moore is not one of them.

I'm starting to think that the Dolphins are so anxious to improve the skill positions they're going to shoot their wad early in free agency with signings and potentially a trade...and that by the time we get to draft day, 1st round receiver will be no more on the plate than it was in 2010 when we'd just acquired Brandon Marshall.

That would leave the Dolphins using that #12 overall pick to replenish losses that they will be dealt in free agency along the offensive and defensive lines as well as the defensive backfield.

Of course, you can't tell the crowd that NOW, before the Dolphins have actually executed in free agency...because they're rabid. They don't want to hear anything but about play makers and pass catchers, etc.
