no, this isn't a weekend at phinsational's home. These are the conditions that cruise passengers are having to endure while aboard the Carnival cruise line Triumph. Nothing triumphant about this. Man, I'd never go on Carnival... EVER! It's being towed back to Alabama and should finally arrive this evening.
Why wouldn't they just send transport vessels that can bring the passengers back? Don't need to be cruise ships just something fast with enough space for people to chill for a couple days.. its not like this shio was out in the middle of the Pacific?
Probably a few women on that ship I'd volunteer holding the plastic poop bag for. Normally something like that costs extra ya know.
Starting to get the picture of what a typical Valentines day in the phinsational household Might be like.
So on top of having to eat onion sandwiches and deal with **** and piss everywhere, they have to go to Ala****ingbama? That sucks dude.
I love onions....Id be good with that. Peeing in the shower = not a big deal. Pooping in a bag would suck.
against the law. On the flip side, I bet Carnival tickets will be on sale for awhile. not sure why the hell you would take a cruise from Galveston to Alabama.
They actually aren't cheap - at least not the next few. The wife and I were looking when this happened and were hoping for the same, but no dice. Still booked what we wanted though. Read a few passenger accounts online, apparently (surprise!) the media reports were way overblown, and the chances of that happening again are pretty slim, and they got well compensated, so whatever.
I've been on a few cruises now (Princess cruises, owned by Carnival, as is 75% of all cruise lines)... have another one scheduled for November, around Thanksgiving (I'll be in Miami for the first time ever.... gonna have to go to the stadium). They aren't for everyone and I can only speak for myself. But overall I've had great experiences. Seeing places I would generally not be able to. It is a great way to do that and save a **** load of money. Where it gets costly is the excursions, either the cruise organized or outside ones. I would recommend the Alaska cruises to anyone. The Mexico cruises.... not so much.
