Great 4th quarter for the Heat! Lebron making some sick assists... And the Heat crowd in their arena was awesome....
maybe now people will believe me that the knicks need a 4 who can rebound and defend. Melo is a great scorer and has become better on D but lets face it, its never going to be his strength. If the Knicks were smart, trade Brewer for a 1st and package said 1st with Amare and Shump for Smith and Zaza Puchilia (which was basically the rumored deal with a 1st as a sweetener)
Everyone likes seeing the Celtics get walloped except Celtics fans. If it werent for the Heat, they'd be my least favorite team.
And Josh Smith goes to the Millwauke Bucks..... Except they're not fans just bandwagon *******s who happen to be at a basketball game because the Neo-Nazi rally keeps getting canceled.
I've read we are in talks with KMart but won't do anything final until after March 1 because we want to see who gets bought out before we make a move.
That was at last report. technically Miami does have a roster spot open now. Jermaine O Neal is reportedly staying in Phoenix but someone always unexpectedly gets dumped at this time of year. Knicks signed K Mart after trading brewer to OKC for a 2nd in 2014. My guess is this means more of Melo back at the 3 and Kmart/Amare in a time share at the 4 which is fine since Amare doesnt ply a lick of defense and KMart knows how to play with carmelo on the court. We've recreated the Nuggets from 2009
Was really hoping to get something for Amare, not sure NY has done enough to even get to the ECF let alone win it. Losing Sheed hurt more than anyone could've imagined but Martin evens it up IMO. And damn I liked Brewer.
They are struggling because they have not adapted their game, since the threes stopped falling. It's just a slump. But be realistic. I told you before the season started, that I thought they were likely a 4th seed. That gets you past the 1st round and into a sexy 2nd round matchup with the heat That isn't so bad, is it?
Well get ready for it cause if the Knicks play like they have been playing theyre not beating a healthy Bulls or Pacers team either. Since the 18-5 start theyre 14-14 and back to playing mediocre defense.
For some context, the Cavs and Knicks have the same record over their last 10 (5-5), and worse record over their last 14 (8-6 vs 7-7).
As depressing as that is I could tell you something about your Cavs and Knicks right now that would completely depress you regarding Kyrie.
Lakers played their best two consecutive games of the season, IMO. I think they make a push and get into the playoffs. I don't think they will do much once there, but considering their season, squeaking in would be an accomplishment. Also, given Cuban's comments about Kobe, it wouldn't surprise me is Bryant makes a statement against Dallas coming up.
