Well, with the way our blocking scheme works a LG who can inside/outside is arguably more valuable

Keep in mind, the ball is supposed to be out in 3 seconds, as long as your tackles don't give up instant pressure you can suffice with less than #1 picks at the Tackle slots.

Have you noticed a pattern with whom we meet at the combine and who we draft?

It seems to me that we don't meet the #1 pick we go after, but we DO interview guys for rounds 2-7.

Pre Philbin we charted about 93% of people we drafted we'd met with.

I'd doubt it. Why move him away from where he's been so good?

I wonder if that holds true for our first rounder though. Seems more subterfuge goes on there.

    Overall though, that's good.

Is there anywhere to get the list of the 60 players Miami has asked to interview?

I've heard a lot of rumblings that Patterson has been dominating his combine workouts the past month, so Im curious to see what he puts up. Hopefully it's insane, so some stupid team overdrafts him

His coach really stressed that he had no idea how to play the game in an interview with the JS's Tyler Dunne. Said really had no clue and that will be a "major adjustment" at the next level.

I'd love Chance Warmack. But then I love my OL guys. Only way that will fly with the fan base though is to make a couple of big splashes in free agency....especially at WR.

    Markus Wheaton up to 189. That's a +
Kenjon Barner up to 196. Good for him
Andre Ellington up to 199 at 5'9 is a plus.
Giovani Bernard at 5'8 202. Not a +. Don't see him going above the 3rd round unless he runs in the 4.4s.

Because of his size? I don't think that will matter for Bernard.

Terron Armstead ran an unofficial 4.65.

In the words of Rich Eisen, "Ridiculous."

Most likely higher official time, but yeah that is pretty ridiculous for an OL.

I know, they're not releasing official times until both groups run. But that's pretty impressive for someone 6'4" 305lbs.

It was a 4.56 and then rounded up so not sure it's getting any higher.

Jonathan Cooper looks like he's carrying the added weight (up to 311lbs) pretty well. Ran all over the lane and had an unofficial 5.13 - I bet he runs faster in his 2nd turn.
