Weird feeling the streak ends tonight. A loss coming soon is feeling inevitable and I feel like they might be more interested in the Pacers on Sunday than the 76'ers tonight.
Lol I think it would qualify as the high point of the 76'ers season. Although they still get us twice more this season after tonight so he might still exercise some caution.
Philly has been one of the biggest disappointments of the season. Bynum did exactly what I thought he would this season....hurt.
The worse part is having to decide to double down and give him a contract or cut losses and let him walk. I think walking is the better decision but the fans will HATE it. I was rooting for them to at least make the playoffs since we have their pick lotto protected.
Easily. With Bynum, they probably would have been a top 4 seed in the East, but as we all know he hasn't played a second. The fan base is very disappointed to say the least. To whoever said the Sixers will beat the Heat, I laugh at that. I know anything can happen, but with how awful the Sixers have been playing recently and how great the Heat are playing, I have a hard time seeing it.
Jesus I hate the El Heat jerseys. Are we going to wear them this whole home stand? I miss the all blacks from last year, those were just sweet.
You must not have watched many Heat games. These are the type of games we always lose. I hope not but I would bet the streak ends to a team that most of the country finds shocking. Hell it should have ended to the Magic on Wednesday.
I have watched a decent amount of Heat games, but in general the Heat always dominate the Sixers. I watched most of that game when they played the Magic, and they probably shouldn't have won, by when you have a guy like LeBron, it can solve many issues.
Yup. The closest we get here is video of him doing post moves in the practice facility. It's not fun to say the least.
I know you're joking, but Sherman has a serious superiority complex. Skip wants people to react towards him.
Amare starts to look like the best 6th man in the NBA....then he gets hurt AGAIN and will miss a month and a half.
Amare Stoudemire will have a right knee debridement and is expected to miss six weeks. An MRI revealed that he had a cyst burst and it will require surgery. STAT had a left knee debridgement earlier this year for a similar cyst problem, which was the same knee that had microfracture surgery in 2005, but this procedure will be to the other knee. STAT's regular season is essentially over with less than six weeks in the season and he can be dropped in almost all leagues. The Knicks will have to go with a smaller lineup again and Tyson Chandler may have to run more pick-and-rolls instead of crashing the boards. Carmelo Anthony will likely play more power forward once he's back in the lineup. Jason Kidd gets a little bit more of a boost with the Knicks having to resort to small ball while Steve Novak could also pick up some extra minutes. - rotoworld.
smh these refs west holding lebrons elbow right in the face of the ref and lets it go just so they can try to keep game close its beyond shameless how they ref lebron
Was supposed to get out of work at 6...still here. Listening to the game, sounds like Refs are ****ing us.
Lakers are now in the 8th spot and two games out from the sixth. A first round matchup with Memphis would actually be much better for them. Kobe, Nash and Howard seem to be meshing very well right now. 8-2 since the All-Star break and 16-6 in their last 22. Lots of credit to a team that has battled through massive injuries, coach firings, owner's death and much more t battle back into the playoffs. Very impressive.
Anyone who honestly believed that the Lakers would miss the playoffs entirely is crazy. They are still a very talented team that could cause a mess in the playoffs.
That ****ty point guard that Section126 said plays well in big games scored 26 point on 9 shots. Yeah...50 PG's are better than him.
This is true, getting hot at the right time. The playoffs will be much more intriguing WITH the Lakers than without. Props to Kobe who has basically been possessed the past few weeks and playing aswell as anyone right now.
Ehh thats has less to do with adversity and more to do with a coach's incompetence. How Coach Pringles is still on board suprises the hell out of me. He will be replaced in the offseason.
Whoa..let's not pretend that a lot of people weren't saying this was a #1 seed and Finals contender. This Laker team is still the biggest disappointment in the history of sports if they miss the playoffs. If they make the playoffs and get smashed, they will merely be an embarrassment.
To be fair they went from one of the worst offensive coaches around (but an overall average coach - Mike Brown) to one of the worst defensive coaches in the history of NBA basketball.
