Pretty much led Baltimores defense after Ray Lewis went down. From what I watched his a fierce hitting linebacker and he's tough as hell. Really good coverage linebacker (like Dansby was).

Dansby's cap hit is greater so IMO it would make more sense to drop Burnett and kick Dansby outside.

There's your answer. I like Burnett, but having a guy with a ring who straight balls would be a massive upgrade.

If Dansby or Burnett have to get to released to make this work I want it it be Burnett. I like the idea of Dansby/Ellerbe duo more than Ellerbe/Burnett.

 

Burnett is less expensive and performed better than Dansby did last season. Also I'm sure the coaching staff might not have really cared for Dansby's attitude either. I'd be shocked if it were Burnett.

I just saw 10 seconds of highlights for Ellerbe on NFL Network and I've already seen him do something our players haven't in a while, catch a freaking INT. Hopefully he can make that skill contagious.

 

Is the free agent Confucius predicted? The one that he deemed "wouldn't be catching any passes"? This is pretty ****ing crazy. I called the Dansby's days are numbered in the Mike Wallace thread, but I figured it would be addressed in the draft. Holy ****.
