Draft needs: Depending on if Barnett and Dansby being cut, linebacker, tight end, offensive line (OT especially), and corner. Add safety as well. Miami will need that corner, safety, linebacker and tight end likely in the first 5 picks.

I think Eifert will be better than any of the free agent TE's, including Cook. Eifert is the player I want the Dolphins to take with their first round pick, but I think the Dolphins will probably end up taking another offensive lineman with their first round selection.

 

Cook is a bit overrated at that money. 5 years 35 million, I'm seeing? Seems insane.

 

yeah we might be better off missing out on him at that price.

 

I'm sure most of the disappointed people will eventually adopt this stance but as I said this afternoon before the madness started...I'm very in-between on Jared Cook. He didn't make my favorite at the position nor did he even make the group of runners up. The man has like no run after catch ability to speak of, except when he happens to have the right angle and can use his vertical speed.

Martellus Bennett would have been a killer signing. Giving Jared Cook the money the Rams did may have ended up a mistake.

 

James Casey may be Miami's next in line target at tight end.
