If true good luck Long. I guess we draft a OT in the first.

Here's a scenario... if one of Fisher, Joeckel or johnson make it to around #8... do the Dolphins consider a trade up? I could see it.

Or are we looking for a 2nd-3rd round Right Tackle, not a Left Tackle.

More likely sign Winston and Martin moves to LT. Just had a gut feeling when Martin was drafted that he'd be our future LT.

It was a retweet MrClean. Someone else is asking for credit.

To that point, no one else is reporting this. How accurate is this report?

Oops, my mistake. Damn twitter language still doesn't make sense to me sometimes. Seems backwards how they list who tweets and then who retweets.

Really want to see what the numbers are. If it's anything over 7 per, I'm glad we let him walk. He's a good player and a hard worker but you can't afford to invest big money for a guy that hasn't been on the field when it counts the last two years.

Either way I wish him well.

I don't think you draft a right tackle at 12. Just my opinion.

I'm going to be honest here. I think Sebastian Vollmer can play left tackle. He played there for a stretch of games as a rookie and was REALLY good in those games. And he's been a standout right tackle.

We are going to be a very young team. I love youth but this is getting a bit worrisome.

I'm not enthusiastic that Martin is going to put in the offseason work, and it'd be nice to have a starter sewn up at either tackle spot.

Really would like to see a veteran right tackle come aboard. Huge risk to put a rook over there. Especially if Jerry remains and/or we start a young TE.

Martin is better off on the left side.

Exactly why I think he should be the target. He can play on both sides and if they do indeed want to keep Martin at LT, Vollmer is a stud on the right side. If Martin struggles at LT they can swap the two.

The only way this makes sense is to replace Jake with a very talented player, either sign the best tackle in the market or draft one of the big three if one drops.

Can we put to bed the who we should have taken #1 overall bull**** now?

Matt Ryan was the pick, no other way around, Parcells screwed the football on it.

It was 5 years ago... and we since have drafted our potential franchise QB.

    Let it go...

Sometimes? I concur , I can text on my phone , haven't felt the need to move up from that yet. Though my son keeps saying he wants to get me a new phone and he is Cre Com grad and is in communications. He texts me anything he thinks is interesting from the tweets he gets, which is a lot , so may I should take the plunge?

Nope, this is accountability time FN.

We are constantly fed that 'experts on the nfl know more than you"

yet they fail time after time, this bothers me a bit..just a wee..bit.

I'd love to have Vollmer, but the impression up here in Boston sure feels like they will find a way to keep Vollmer and let Welker go.
I still give credit to Ireland with the thought that Martin was indeed drafted to replace Long at LT given the money Long was going to demand this year.

I would realy like them sign Vollmer. So much for Jake being a part of the foundation for ten years or so.
