Has this been shot down yet? If so, I don't see how we could get him for 4/28

They don't have a pile of picks in this draft, they've got the second least in the league right now.

Edit: Now reading it again, that sounds like Omar retweeting some dude named James mills Jr who asked that question..

That's the punk way to make statements. Omar is broadcasting that sentiment without challenging it, and can claim that he wasn't the one who said it if challenged. Man up Omar.

Thanks, I'll sleep better then. They've had so many picks over the past few years. I'm glad to hear they're finally exhausting them.

Cardinals signed the Bullfrog. Cut Kerry Rhodes earlier in the day.

    Boys cut Marcus Spears.

One argument is that we could have signed wheeler for much cheaper last year...... it's a desperate argument as we're in a much different situation right now, than we we're last year. Wheeler also had a real nice season, while dansby became much easier to cut too. There's still work to be done in the switch from 3-4 to 4-3. Noticing a lot of the usual complainers making strange attempts to justify they're past statements.

They were aggressive with their picks last year and they're paying for it now. Of course, being Homo inferioris bostonensis, Patriots fans are convinced they're still playoff contenders.

He's got a point there. Being fired is the warning. Nobody says "Hey, we might be firing you. Depends how things go"

I think what he's saying is that he would like the players to... have an idea from the media or something? I have no idea.

Armando tweeted earlier that the Dolphins contacted him (because he said the same about Wheeler) to tell him they wanted Wheeler over Guyton last year, but it was Wheeler that wanted to go to the Raiders because he thought he had a better chance to start there. Probably a good move on his part as he's getting paid now.

Of course, I'm sure we could have offered a lot more than the Raiders if we really wanted him then, money doesn't always talk, but a lot of money usually does.

Reggie Bush contract with the Lions was a 4year - $16Million, $4M siging bonus.

It's less than I thought he would get.

    http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2013/03/full_breakdown_of_reggie_bush.html

    2013 - $1 million ($2 million salary cap)
    2014 - $3.5 million ($4.5 million salary cap)
    2015 - $3.25 million; $250,000 roster bonus ($4.5 million salary cap)
    2016 - $3.75 million; $250,000 roster bonus ($5.0 million salary cap)

I won't kill them, but you won't hear me get all excited until I see start watching all their games from last year in isolation, go back and look at their college highlights, surrounding variables can make players look good or bad..

Wallace I will get a bit excited about..

    I just want the draft..

Amendola is the reason they didn't care about Welker. Knew it was coming. When you have an elite QB it doesn't matter if his numbers aren't as strong, because he will have his best years with Brady throwing to him anyway.
