It's hard to feel good and trust Miami Dolphins when so many mistakes have been made

and I love the fans who defend irrational *****ing and moaning..

Critique what we know as fact, quit saying things that don't include the current regime and owner, and you won't hear a peep.

If it doesn't effect your passion or fervor for the current team and staff then cool, if it does, then that doesn't make any sense to me..

deej, he's not putting down the new regime nor blaming them and like most of us, he's probably excited or hopeful about this new regime. It's just that the masses are jaded or burnt out from the ineptitude and short comings of the past and from getting their hopes up, like with Parcells and Saban, etc. Winning and some consistency will bring the masses. It's just a fact. I also am a die hard, psycho phin fan and I cheer every game like a nut and like we have a chance, even when are chances for the playoffs are gone. Hell, I was freakin' and cheering when Cleo F'ing Lemon was our QB. It's the masses. The die hard fans are always there, but you now ad in the fringe or casual type of fans and you now have a big, loud, supportive crowd. I also always mention that it's always be a bit more of a challenge to draw that kind of crowd for Miami than other teams because... well...it's Miami. There's actually s--t to do in Miami. It's not like a Sunday in Wisconsin or Buffalo, etc. In Wisconsin or Buffalo, etc, you don't have the choice of going to a football game and also going to the beach and watching hot chicks in bikinis. Even more than that, it's also very transient with part time residents, not to mention there is a s--t load of elderly people there. :) There's probably some really heated and crazy Bocci Ball games down there. Peace bro.

Yes. He also fills in on PTI. Talented people get ****. As for burning ESPN down, All for it. Which accelerant do we buy?

This franchise has been in the wilderness for a while.

    Past experience dictates Expectations

One division title in a decade?

Last Title game appearance in 1993?

Last Super Bowl appearance in 1985?

For THIS franchise..that is long suffering.

I apologized to blitz on the last page, I was using some of his statements and generalizing, even though I know it didnt apply to him.

  6. I agree that new people deserve clean slates. For instance I would not criticize Tannehill because he isnt Marino nor am I going to celebrate that he inst another Henne. He could turn out to be either in the end but for now he is questionable. As he shows things me things to get excited about I do. I just dont make more out of his accomplishments than they merit. Same holds true for this whole new overhaul of the team.

There is some things I see that I like, some things I do not like, and a bunch of stuff that is questionable. I guess what I am waiting for is for them to perform above my expectations (which are set pretty low at this point) and do it convincingly. When I am confident that they are on a path thats consisitently improving.

No bro, I never thought you were attacking him. I was just trying to drive his point home. :) I was referring to his last point about the crowd/fans. You rock!

Exactly, to just absolve Ireland because he's signed a couple of free agents, is the blind homerism coming to the fore. Yes you need to give Philbin a chance, and I do believe in him, but Ireland, not so much. He's made too many mistakes over the last 5 years for me to turn into one of his cheerleaders overnight.

He needs to follow this up with a grand slam in the draft, nothing less or its just more of the same.

He also doesn't count the 2nd and 3rd round choices we have pissed away on crap trades.

There is a reason the Ravens had more...

You do understand the difference between "blaming" the current staff and not trusting the organization as a whole?

If I don't trust the people who hired the former staff why should I trust them??

Most of the recent bad mistakes were made when Hienziga was the Owner. He is great at making money , but he had 0% football knowledge. Mr Ross looks determined to get a winner. He didn't want to upset the Parcells applecart at first. But he seems determined to get to the next level. I'm liking our chances , and players seem to want to come to Miami again. A few yrs ago we were being avoided like the Plague. I think Ryan Tannilill will lead us and end that 40 yr drought.
