1. Xavier Rhodes 2. Terron Armstead 2. Da'Rick Rogers 3. Justin Pugh 3. Jonathan Franklin http://www.gbnreport.com/2013projection.html Sorry, my bad- Terron Armstead is listed as 2a, my bad.
They actually have Terron Armstead, not Hunt as the first 2nd round pick. Not bad but I would much prefer Bailey, Patton or Wheaton to Rogers due to the character concerns.
Based on who was on the board when each of our players were selected. 1. Trufant (or Lotulelie) 2. Armstead 2. Bailey 3. Pugh 3. Swearinger (Like Franklin just not in the 3rd)
if the board would fall like this and our first pick was rhodes i would say wtf and get johnthan banks too
I'd prefer Werner at 12 and then come back with Dallas Thomas at 42 if it fell that way. I'd take Jamar Taylor at 54. Phillip Thomas at 77 and then be tempted to go with Logan Ryan or keep Jonathan Franklin there. I'd wait till the fourth to address the WR position with a Chris Harper or wait a bit more for a Corey Fuller. I'm also assuming we are signing Vollmer or Eric Winston.
Based on who is the board, I would go: 1. Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame 2a. Jonthan Banks, CB, Miss. St. 2b. Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon St. 3a. Justin Pugh, OL, Syracuse 3b. Giovani Bernard, HB, North Carolina
I wouldn't be a huge fan of that draft. I like Pugh and Franklin, and I'm fine with Rhodes, but I don't like Rodgers all that much and I don't know much about Armstead. For those that have seen him and would know, is this guy a good player or just a physical specimen? It feels like a Bruce Campbell situation where the guy is a great athlete, but you didn't hear anything about the guy before the combine. Based off who's there I'd go something like: 1. Rhodes 2. Ertz 2. Patton 3. Pugh 3. Rambo or 1. Eifert 2. Cyprien 2. Poyer 3. Pugh 3. Bailey
Really interesting. I wish it were 7 rounds. Here is who I wold have liked, given who was available: 1) Werner (tempted to take Tank Carradine) 2a) Johnthan Banks (crazy good value in the second, esp. If we play more zone) 2b) Stedman Bailey (can do everything, YAC, inside, outside, TDs, routes, great) 3a) Shamarko Thomas (thanks for finding him, CK. I likey.) 3b) Corey Lemonier (Wake's future replacement) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Right now I cannot buy a mock that doesn't have 2 corners in the first 3 rounds or not having Ireland take advantage of a deep DT class. Considering our starter DT's have 1 year left each at the moment. OT I think we deal with before the draft.
Ireland apparently likes Marshall and Patterson. And considering we're paying about 10 million in total for both, I think it's not very likely we're going to draft two CB's day 1 and 2. I think it's likely Ireland wants to see what he has in Marshall, who had a strong training camp and rocky start. I don't personally love it, but the Dolphins are not going to give up on players as easily as the fans do.
I like the players in the first three picks, but feel all three are being overdrafted. Pugh I dislike. Ryan I know nothing about. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
