Holly Crap. Didn't see THAT one coming. I guess they have lost so much, it was just a matter of time till they signed a big one.

He is going to fit in very nicely across from Suggs.... Don't be surprised if Dansby signs there for next to nothing as well lol

OMG JEFF IRELAND, ARE YOU SERIAL? Our free agency is ruined. We are going to win like 3 games, max.

Or maybe just criticizing those who overreact to every player we have met with but then don't sign.
    Here's the cycle:

1)Player is on the market, everybody here clamors for a meeting. Expectation level: Medium
2)Same player meets with the Dolphins, reports state that it was a "good visit". Expectation level: Unreasonably high.
3)People begin to fantasize what our team would look like if we grabbed every elite FA available, while not regarding future economic implications. Expectation level: sticky keyboards.
4)Player signs with another team, people go on these forums, *****, moan, and complain that we missed on a player that we would most likely be paying MORE THAN CAMERON WAKE.

That's a pretty slick trio of OLBs the Ravens have. Provided Suggs is healthy of course. Dumervil, Suggs, and Courtney Upshaw? Jealous.

...and for team chemistry's sake, you can't bring in a free agent and pay him more than Cameron Wake.

Specially when he is not a better player than Wake.

Miami shouldn't be willing to offer that kind of money for Dumervil. I'm not sure if he's worth it in a vacuum, much less in the Dolphins position. A Nickel-only edge rusher is less of a luxury than it was, but it's not an imperative, especially at that price. There are still a lot of guys on the market.

They shouldn't be blocking Olivier Vernon in, and they shouldn't be cashing their chips on someone who doesn't fit the rare physical profile that would best fit the RDE position opposite Wake.
