With the 41st overall pick, the Tennessee Titans select Jonathan Cyprien, Safety FIU.

The Tennessee Titans were trying to trade up frantically over the last few picks to pick Cyprien, but a deal was not in the cards. Thankfully, it did not matter because to their delight Cyprien fell to them either way. Over the off season the Titans have totally reassembled their Safety group after a horrid season from that position in 2012. With the release/trade of Michael Griffin and Jordan Babineaux, the Titans signed veteran safeties Dawan Landry and Bernard Pollard to man the middle of the field.

Though the Titan's have solidified the position over the off season they feel they have put themselves in the position to draft the best player available. With the ability to play spot duty in 2013 and be the eventual starter, Cyprien is just that BPA. Cyprien is a first round talent and debate-ably the best safety in the draft, the Titans are ecstatic to have him on our team. :knucks:

With the 42nd overall pick in the 2013 GML Draft, the 49ers select:

Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina

Although Sylvester Williams is primarily assessed as a 4-3 Defensive Tackle, the 49ers feel that they can utilize him as a Defensive End in their 3-4 Defense, as well as a nose tackle if need be. Williams is a solid player, quick hands, and quick feet for his size. This was a tough selection for the 49ers as there were many players they wanted to select at 42.

With the run on linebackers I'm playing it safe and grabbing the top weakside backer with the nasty ability to separate a ball from players hands with 6 forced fumbles. Greene fills a big hole for the Buffalo Bills and were mighty glad to have him.

With the 47th pick of the draft, the Rams select:

Safety From LSU, Eric Reid

Rams Take: This was actually a very tough decision for us, we had two guys we mulled over all day. Sorry for keeping the draft waiting. But we are actually 50 minutes early :tongue2: We feel Eric is going to be a solid safety in the NFL. He has a late first round grade on our board. He has all the tools you look for in a safety. Great measurables. Obviously feels a need at free safety even though we'll use Deangelo Hall there too in certain situations.

With the 49th pick the Cincinatti Bengals select WR Stedman Bailey, WVU.

Over the last 2 seasons as a Sophomore/Junior Stedman put up some incredible numbers.

186 rec, 2901 yards, and 37 TDs. Stedman projects best as slot receiver at the next level and will work perfectly in the middle with Brandon Marshall and Demaryius Thomas as outside WRs.

New York Giants Take:
The New YorkGiants were pleased to see Sam Montgomery who they considered to be the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]best LDE in the draft still available to them at #53 in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]round. Montgomery is a strong, fast and physical player who led the LSU D-Linewith (12 tackles for loss) and (7 sacks) in 2012. He plays with a high motorand has the speed to track down plays from the backside, good strength canhold up at the point of attack.
RodMarinelli looks to work with Montgomery on improving his speed off the snap, use of his hands to free himself from blockers and to work on his bull rush andspin move. He figures to play the leftside behind Justin Tuck as the Giants continue to improve the D-Linerotation. Montgomery figures to playmore of the running downs while Tuck will gain most of the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] down opportunitiesor at least at the beginning of the year, should Tuck struggle we may see moreof Montgomery than expected, we look forward to the competition for the LEposition.

Sorry for the delay, working on the road today!

With the 52nd pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Chicago Bears select wide receiver from Tennessee Tech..Da'Rick Rogers!

Bears are extremely happy to be able to get Rogers here. We think hes a top 15 pick if not for some character concerns. He was drug tested over 10 times while at Tennessee Tech, passed them all, and has come clean and admitted his previous mistakes. Rogers reminds us an awful lot of another Wideout we had on the team before trading him to the Bucs, in Brandon Marshall.

Rogers had ridiculous production. As a TRUE Sophomore, he led the SEC in both receptions (67) and receiving yards (1,040). He was also second in touchdowns with 9. Had 78 catchers for 1207 yards and 11 TDs as a Junior.

6'2 217 lbs - 4.52 40 - 39.5 inch vertical - 11'0" Broad

Bears are ecstatic about the addition of Rogers in the late 2nd round.

Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise St!

We actually love Jamar a lot and would not have been surprised to see him go much higher, but we rolled the dice on his availability when there was a run on WRs (and subsequently decided to make a move for our guy at that position 1st) and it has paid off. We expect Jamar to come in and challenge for playing time and perhaps even earn a starting spot in our defensive backfield.

With pick 55 Pittsburgh selects

WR Marcus Wheaton, Oregon St

OVERVIEW
Used in much the same way as the Beavers featured former star James Rodgers throughout his distinguished career in Corvallis, Wheaton developed into one of the Pac-12's most versatile and underrated weapons, eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark in all-purpose yardage in 2010 and 2011.
Wheaton caught a then-career-high 73 passes for 986 yards in 2011, earning honorable mention all-conference honors despite the fact he only caught one touchdown.

He was expected to significantly improve those numbers as a senior -- and certainly did so in earning First Team All Pac-12 honors with 91 grabs for 1,244 yards and 11 touchdowns in a breakout performance that helped him surge past Rodgers, Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh to leave Oregon State as the school's all-time record holder with 227 career receptions.

A willing receiver over the middle with the toughness to handle running with the ball on the fly-sweep, Wheaton has the production to prove that he isn't just a track athlete in football pads... he's a big play waiting to happen. Wheaton tends to play too fast at times in his routes, but when controlled he has the sudden moves and athleticism to create and make smooth adjustments to the ball.

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS: Very good straight-line speed that translates well onto the gridiron. Eats up the cushion due to his quick burst off the snap. Has a good arm-over swim move and the lateral agility to elude when pressed. Very experienced against press coverage due to the fact Oregon State uses this technique with their cornerbacks.
Savvy, athletic route-runner. Can drop his hips and shows good balance, burst out of his breaks to generate separation. Recognizes holes in zone and settles nicely, keeping himself alive to aid his quarterback.

Talented pass catcher. Shows the ability to snatch passes out of the air and has good body control to contort. Good deep ball receiver, showing the ability to track the ball over either shoulder. Has good lateral agility to elude defenders in tight quarters and has an effective stiff-arm and good balance to generate yardage after the catch.

Alert and a surprisingly competitive blocker given his relatively slight frame. Good bloodlines. Cousin of former Dallas Cowboys defensive back Kenny Wheaton.

WEAKNESSES: Possesses a narrow frame and is especially thin in his lower body, leading to some concern as to where he'll fit best in the NFL. Owes much of his statistical success to Oregon State's quick-hitting passing attack, which features a lot of screens and other short routes. Has struggled, at times, with drops when he's attempted to make defenders miss before securing the ball or when trailing back over the middle on drag routes, leading to some concerns over "alligator arms" in traffic.

Wheaton was a guy that we feel can come in right away and be a weapon for us while learning behind Emmanual Sanders and Antonio Brown, he provides a versatile guy that can be used in a variety of ways to get in space where he is dangerous. It is no secret that GM JMH had a man crush on another receiver and had thought the pick was in the bag and some Nappy looking dude stole him away(Frgn SOB) but I digress, was very happy to have Wheaton available. A hard worker who will fit well with this team

The Packers do love tight ends. And they continue to stock an already full shelf with Kelce. He may still need some polishing as a TE as he was recruited to Cincinnati as QB. But what better way to learn the position then under future HOFer Tony Gonzalez.

On behalf of the Denver Broncos: With the 59th pick, Denver selects:

Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor

The Broncos felt that they needed to go out and select a receiver who likes to play outside the hashes and lifts the top off of defenses. Terrance Williams joins a talented receiving core with AJ Green, Anquan Boldin and TY Hilton.

With the 60th pick, the Houston Texans select...

Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State

Escobar had been near the top of our board for a long time and we were a little surprised he was still on the board at this pick, especially considering 3 TEs had already been picked. Without any real holes on our team we could go with the relative BPA here as well as give us the depth we wanted at a position we feel is pretty important. We already have one of Manning's favorite targets in Tamme at TE, but as teams like the Patriots, 49ers, and Ravens have shown, it really helps to have two good ones. Escobar is a huge player at 6'6'' with long arms providing for a very large catching radius. He's a guy who has the athleticism to be a seam buster, but also will succeed underneath. His blocking is not where you'd like it to be, but we feel it is an area he can improve on and eventually be solid at. He will fill the role of recently departed James Casey, and we feel is an improvement, as he can line up as an inline TE, flexed out, H-back, and even at WR. We feel this makes our already dangerous offense that much better.

The 49ers spent all three of their 2nd round selections on the defensive line. They feel that Margus Hunt has fallen far enough and it was time for him to be selected. The man is a monster standing at a tall 6'8", and has blocked a jaw-dropping 9 field goals and 7 PAT attempts in his collage career. He will joining a very young a talented defensive line in San Francisco. Go take a look at their roster.. it's starting to look ridiculously dangerous.

With the 64th overall pick, the Tennessee Titans select Giovanni Bernard, Running Back North Carolina.

After trading away Chris Johnson in the offseason and trading for Marshawn Lynch, the Titans felt that adding an elusive back the likes of Gio Bernard would be a good option to spell Lynch. Gio is a very quick, yet surprisingly powerful back that is very effective in the passing game. The Titans feel that Gio Bernard is a first round talent and consider him the best all around back in the draft, similar in ability to last year's Doug Martin and Deangelo Williams. The only reason Gio falls out of the first is because of lingering injury concerns, which seem to be behind him after medicals at the combine.

With this pick, the Titans have their own version of Smash and Dash, and believe it will be very effective behind their new and improved O-line.

With the 65th overall pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars select:

Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU, AKA, the Honey Badger
[IMG]

After missing the past year of football with off-field issues, Mathieu is wowing NFL execs with his pro day numbers as well as his pre-draft interviews. He is a perfect fit for the Jags, who were looking to solidify their nickle back position. With a stellar corner combo of Chris Harris Jr. and Ladarius Webb, Honey Badger should do a nice job guarding the slot. He also brings value as a PR.

With the 66th pick in the GML draft, the St. Louis Rams are proud to select:

LB from U Conn, Sio Moore.

Rams Take: This is a player we had pegged at this spot since the start of the draft and we're obviously thrilled he is still here. Sio will come in and compete for one of the LB spots with Nigel Bradham. At this point in the draft it's all about adding solid depth to the position. And we feel we have done that in adding Sio Moore to our defense. A guy that can play any number of positions. Sio has been rising up draft boards since the East West Shrine game. He was then invited to the Senior Bowl as a replacement for an injured player. He continued to show off his skills there and was one of the best linebackers at the game. Very happy to have Sio.

With the 69th pick in the NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select, Florida State Offensive Tackle Menelik Watson!!

In terms of upside, Watson ranks right up there with the Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher and Lane Johnson as one of the elite talents among offensive tackles in the 2013 draft. Possesses light feet, long arms, and natural overall weight distribution. Flashes great quickness and balance when dropping back into pass protection. Naturally strong, heavy hands to latch on and control opponents. Flashes a physical pop to rock defenders on their heels. Good balance. Natural knee bender who can sink to absorb contact. Best attribute might be straight-line speed. Races off the ball to block defenders at the second level, sometimes 20+ yards downfield. Blessed with the traits that will catch the imagination of NFL offensive line coaches for every team in the league.

Watson figures to compete with Webb at RT. Bears figure his long term success will be well worth a 3rd round selection here. This also confirms what everyone speculated that Bears will kick Zuttah in at left guard.

Shamarko Thomas, S, Syracuse!!

We really like a number of safeties in this class (including some that remain), but we really feel like Shamarko is exactly the type of hard nosed, no-nonsense football player we (and the coaches) want to have on our team. While less than ideal height, Shamarko makes up for that shortcoming with outstanding athleticism and a tenacious nature. We don't expect him to earn a starting S spot right away, but he'll have two good vets to learn from, and will see plenty of time on the field when we call on 3 safeties in the formation.

With the 71st pick in the draft the Seattle Seahawks select Kyle Long, tackle, University of Oregon

Measurables
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 313
Arm Length: 33" 3/8ths
Hand Length: 11"
40: 4.91
20: 2.86
10: 1.7
Bench: Did not perform
Cone: 7.83
Shuttle: 4.63
Vertical: 28"
Broad: 8'11"

How Long Fits in Seattle
Seattle's OL is a zone blocking line and Kyle Long fits that concept perfectly. While some project him as a Left Guard or a Right Tackle, we project him long term as a LT. Down the road this would mean Roger Saffold, a good LT in his own right would shift to Right Tackle to form a quick, agile, and deceptively strong OL. We agree with the comparison to Jason Peters in that peters prior to his Achilles tear was a very nimble Tackle as well. While Kyle Long is a bit raw at the position hes learned the position quickly and its just the nuances that really prevent him from having a universal first round grade. As it is we project him to go top 40 in the NFL draft based on his tremendous skill.

With the 72nd overall pick, the Tennessee Titans select Corey Lemonier, Defensive End Auburn

After trading away Derrick Morgan during the offseason, and signing Isreal Idonije to replace him, the titans felt they needed some pass rushing help on the edge to spell Idonije and Wimbley. Lemonier is one of our highest ratest edge rushers, and we are very excited for him to be available at this point in third round.

Venge spent 2 1st rounders thinking he could weaken me at FS. Well welcome to my new ball hawking safety (16 career INT's) with a 3rd rounder who would have gone a lot higher if he had learned like most football players to fake their pot piss tests. Considered another safety who will not be named who was rated somewhat higher....but you watch vid of Rambo and the guy is just natural.

With the 77th Pick in the 2013 GML Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select ...

ryan nassib, qb, syracuse

Wow. Where to start.

After watching runs on several positions, the Minnesota Vikings felt like we had to make a move up the draft board to pick up the guy we had as the #1 QB on our board. Honestly, we gave serious consideration to Nassib at #23 overall way back in round 1, so we are absolutely thrilled to be able to get this guy in the middle of round 3.

The big things that stood out to us when evaluating Nassib was his accuracy and arm strength. He's also a product of a cold-weather system in Syracuse. These are all big plusses for him, as we play in a cold-weather division and our offense demands accuracy and arm strength.

Adrian Peterson can only take this team so far. At some point we need a QB who can make some throws, put up some points, and lead the team when things get difficult. We believe Christian Ponder can still be that guy, but at the same time, we feel like the position is still unsettled. We have to do everything we can to ensure that the QB position is "solved" by the end of training camp.

And with that Ryan Nassib is a Viking.

Measurables
• Position: Quarterback
• University: Syracuse
• Height: 6'2
• Weight: 227 lbs
• 40 Time: 5.06 seconds
• 3 Cone Drill: 7.34 seconds
• Vertical Jump: 37.5"

The Vikings will head into training camp in the fall with an open competition at QB. We expect Ponder to win out, but we also wouldn't be surprised if Nassib doesn't end up starting for us on Day 1.

The guys at the National Football Post absolutely love this guy, he's actually their #1 overall prospect:

In Nassib we've drafted a player that we feel is more than the sum of his parts. We think he has the potential to develop into a very good player for us down the line, potentially taking over the reigns at some point and blossoming into a franchise QB. That's incredible value for us, especially midway through Round 3.

With the 79th pick in the 2013 GML draft. The Buffalo Bills select
Brian Schwenke, C, California

The Bills put to an end the injustice to interior OL that has been going on since Cooper went off the board. In the Bills view Brian with only 1 year of exp at center was the only viable center prospect in the draft consisting of a lot of guards posing as centers. With only a year under his belt Brian has a lot of room to grow...and the comparison to Max Unger seals the deal.

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS Big-bodied guard prospect with lower-body girth. Quick feet for his size, keeps them moving in pass protection to mirror his man and can adjust quickly to ride defenders penetrating gaps out of the play. Also plays with knee bend and has arm length to maintain distance from his man, will reset and punch with one or two hands throughout the play. Capable of getting off tackle block to pick up delayed blitzer. Flashes quickness to trap and get around the tackle to lead run plays. Gets down quickly to cut block and take out linebackers in the hole on traps. Hustles downfield to help out ballcarriers when needed. Plays with some attitude, brings some pop to his punch when helping his tackle against a pass rusher.

WEAKNESSES As one might imagine for someone of his size, Warford is not tremendously explosive out of his stance. He also struggles to react quickly enough to defenders who are simply diving at his legs. For this reason, running directly behind him on short yardage situations is not as successful as one might expect given his size. It's also possible that quicker defensive lineman in the NFL with active hands could give him problems due to this deficiency.
NFL COMPARISON Marshal Yanda

BOTTOM LINE Warford translated his power as a drive-blocker, unexpected foot quickness and downfield hustle into a fantastic, decorated college career –- and should win his share of battles against NFL linemen when able to get his thick body moving quickly off the snap. That size, strength, and those surprising nimble feet should help him nab a draft slot in the top half of the draft and step into a starting lineup at the next level immediately.
