I would like to see us at least kick the tires on McKinnie. He didn't look bad last season and looks pretty lean in the photo's. A good depth signing at least. http://prod.www.dolphins.clubs.nfl....ony-Open/a359159f-3de5-4b66-9a4e-7bdd35ca0f38
The only kind of problem Bryant McKinnie could help us with is much better solved by donating all that excess food to the needy.
I hope we sign a couple of OL soon so we reduce the chance of picking one with our first round pick which in IMO should be an explosive offensive player who can get chunk yardage and make a difference in a game. The Eagles spent years using high round picks on OL and yet they keep having OL problems while at the same time not creating much offense . The Dolphins SB teams OL were comprised of rejects from other teams,FA and lower round pick choices. It can be done .You just have to know how to choose wisely.
Not picking on you, but your post made me realize something. Why does signing an OT at this point in FA negate drafting a high round OT? For that to make sense, any of the FA tackles available would have to essentially be worth a 1st rd pick. It seems to me either we don't view any FA tackle that highly, meaning the grabbing of one or not would have no real bearing on drafting one high... or We aren't going to draft one high...
I for one don't ever see Garner amounting to much. I would just assume cut him and let McKinne finish out here and draft someone else. I think they just gave Garner an extension so I doubt that happens now.
I just saw an interesting tweet about QBs under pressure ranking from PFF: Nice to see Tannehill ranked at #2 considering the WR core he was working with
