Jeez, all that guaranteed money with only one playoff win. Jerry Jones thirst for Glory Hole days in unquenchable.

Get used to it. QB's hold teams by the balls. If Tanny works out......we will have to pay him more then Romo. Food for thought before you guys laugh at it.

I'll laugh at romo stealing money from jerry while being the supreme choke artist at the end of every season. If tanny is consistently in the playoffs then I'd say he's worth the extension.

If I bought that team I'd blow the whole thing up and start over.

WADR, Tony Romo is the ONLY reason the Cowboys have had any recent success.
You do realize he just set Cowboy passing records for touchdowns in a season. Think about the, guys he passed up and let that sink in a little. And then think about how bad his offensive.line was in doing so. One of the Cowboys key acquisitions last year was acquiring Ryan Cook from us. Cook really was an upgrade from the other guys they had..... . He also had "nice" receivers, but not even close to what Staubach, White and especially Aikman had.

Doesn't take away from the fact that he tends to fizzle in a lot of big game situations. Miles Austin is solid and dez Bryant has improved each year. Jason Witten is getting older but still provides a good security blanket... Stats are all good and fine but they simply do not win the big games in the later part of the year... I see your point but I will not advocate this contract based on him breaking a team record but yet only winning one playoff game. Sorry sir.

Ahh. I see your double standard.

It's the other guys that make Romo have good numbers, but losing is entirely on Romo. You sound like some of the Cowboy fans around here. The ones that dont bother watching unless they are winning.

Any given game and Romo is pulling off Houdini acts that no other QB in the league can pull off, and all you think about is a botched hold on a field goal.

Lol having a bad day? He's had more than one bad game besides the botched field goal hold. Given what he has he could be better. A lot of the other big money qbs would produce more wins on that squad. Just an opinion... That I'm sure is shared by more than just myself.

    On this squad?

Miles Austin has played 1/2 time the last 2 seasons. Des Bryant has finally started playing into his abilities, and of course Witten is great. And once again, their offensive line SUCKS.

Go look at the numbers Laurent Robinson enjoyed with Romo. Never had numbers like that prior or since...... IJS.

Good qbs have done better with not so good lines. Defend him all you want but as long as the team doesn't win when it counts Noone is going to give the guy credit. It always goes back to the qb... Not breaking this record anymore so how about we agree to disagree?

Romo and Garrett, imo the worst combination of coach/Qb leadership in the league..

he's pretty inconsistent. I can't say I recall too many qbs who have more then one game with so many to's. He sucks.

Your using that term way to loosely. Mark Sanchez sucks. Ryan Fitzpatrick sucks. A QB with a career QB rating of 95.6 does NOT suck. Not even close, actually. He doesn't deserve the money but he is good.

Or you're using the term too tightly. I've watched the guy his whole career, pretty much every game as I live in Texas. Romo doesn't just collapse, he implodes. He has games where he has 3+ tos. And no those aren't anomalies it's a normal thing for him. Ok let's say he doesn't suck. He's average at best and extremely overrated. Including by you.

BTW: El Paso isn't really part of Texas... is it?

which part is nonsense? you're saying he isn't inconsistent? you're saying he doesn't collapse and have outright horrible games? And no you haven't watched more games then me.

How the **** am I overrating him?

Don't be upset someone called you out on saying something really stupid. You're the one who said he sucks just by watching his games. That's worth nothing. That's watching for entertainment not scouting.
