this guy who does the gaming videos does a good job. Probably worth a watch just because you know you're a big fan of the show.
I heard that game sucks... It had a really bad rating from some game review sites so I haven't given it a try. The Walking Dead RPG game though (the one that is like $30) is fantastic IMO.
The issue with the game that follows Daryl, is that Activision rushed the hell out of the developers. I heard they only had something like to months to make it. This game was clearly a cash grab attempt by Activision, and it failed.
Game was sweet. Very short though. Rented mine from redbox beat it in a day. Seriously engrossing story. Have no interest in playing this new one though. Obviously just a cash in product. Reviews are terrible too. Check out metacritic for the bloodbath. 2 days until Derle (which, according to Michael Rooker aka Merle is the correct spelling) goes HAM.
Yeah the DLC is a good rent it and beat it over the weekend game. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline but it wasn't a true RPG with replay value IMO.
It does have some pretty good replay value, IMO... Have it on my iPhone and played through with different choices which does, in fact, change some key points of the storyline.
It doesn't change it enough, IMO. You make a few different choices but at the end of the day, the same thing ends up happening.
Def. not as deep as Heavy Rain in that department. Hopefully we'll get a season 2 with some story/game improvements.
Heavy rain was amazing. I can't wait for that teams next game Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
Watching the last episode of Season 2 when they leave the farm. I think that's my favorite episode as far as being the most action packed.
Was going to say, if I had watched Season 2 when it first aired, w/o seeing Season 3 I would not have bothered with the series. The farm story arc was dreadful TV, imo, until Shane shot that guy in the leg at the school then shaved his head. Then it became interesting.
I wonder if they'll kill Andrea off... I really hope not. I am probably among the few that like her and still have hope for her character.
Same here, hope there is more to the character than a bleeding heart type who just dies in some basement.
Andrea's not going anywhere, she's got to stick around and sleep with the next antagonist in Season 4.
I figured the Governor and 2 henchman would have went back to the prison. Where the F did they go if not back to Woodbury either?
That part didn't make sense to me either. I figured the Governor and Rick would get into a shootout at Woodbury, but I guess people really like the Governor so AMC wanted to keep him around for one more season.
We'll find out... in October... maybe... I was a little surprised who died, how they died, and how they seem to be straying away from the comic storyline more than expected. Also, I was gonna use spoiler tags but **** it... if you click onto the thread right after the season finale then you had it coming.
imo, punk *** Miles should have dragged his still living *** to the plyers, handed them to Andrea and have been like "look *****, here, use them" Weak weak weak
I was surprised too, mainly because it feels like they're venturing into Overkill territory. More than half of the original season 1 characters are now gone, which is why I didn't like that Andrea death, even though they did a good job with it. Norman Reedus said it well on Talking Dead, how he liked seeing the character's journeys, but hoped it doesn't turn into something where people go "so whose going to die this week?" Overall, the first two seasons had much better finales, tonight was still good though. I mean we're supposed to believe it takes that long to pick up plyers with your toes? And Milton couldn't crawl his dying *** over to get them and get her out and/or stab himself?
I have no idea what it is like to get stabbed, but I assume that as long as would is open and bleeding that it would just too painful to move and you would die quicker. If he died and turned right by Andrea's feet, then she wouldn't have had a chance at all.
Thought there'd be closure with the Gov. And why not take Woodbury as opposed to that rank and dangerous prison? Maybe season 4 will address.
Woodbury would be more open and easier to attack in the cover of night as the governor would know the ins and outs of that place. I wouldn't be shocked if the big pay out of an all out war isn't til next years finale because now you have a bigger body count with random woman 1 through 10 and child 1 through 10. I like it that I'm surprised but hate it at the same time cause now we have to wait. This season went reverse to season two as it slowed down in the second half. Maybe next year its all balls to the wall.
The prison is actually safer. Those prison fences are top notch whereas the Woodbury fences are very makeshift.
I'm really not the negative Nancy type, I'm really not...but this season blew chunks compared to the first two. Especially the second half. I am disappointed. Will definitely watch season 4, but won't be losing any sleep at the thought of not seeing it 'till October. A GREAT show (imo) turned in to a good show .
I think of this season more of season 3a and next season 3b with the continuation. What I think happens is the Governor, martinez and their black guy join forces with the gang that Rick encountered in the bar in season 2. Gives the Governor some man power and both groups should have some motive for next season. The governor then just becomes a general in that gang and we get the reveal of a much bigger baddie who kills 90% of the people in the prison and hunts Rick and Co the season after.
