With Pick #123 Pittsburgh selects:

Malliciah Goodman, DE Clemson

OVERVIEW
Despite playing behind future second round draft picks Da'Quan Bowers and Andre Branch over the first two seasons, the coaches considered Goodman too good to redshirt of keep on the sidelines as he saw a good amount of playing time as a reserve.
With Bowers going to the NFL, Goodman became a starter in 2011 as a junior and recorded a career-best 49 tackles. He saw his snaps diminish in 2012, but he did finish among the team leaders in sacks (7.0) and tackles for loss (9.5).

At 272 pounds, Goodman isn't the quickest or most explosive rusher off the edge, but he works hard to the pocket and has the strength to handle blockers in one-on-one situations.

The career statistics aren't gaudy (12 sacks) and he'll never be a double-digit sack artist, but Goodman brings intriguing tools to the table. He had a "wow" bowl game performance against LSU with three sacks, which brings the question: where was this intensity the rest of the season?

ANALYSIS
Strengths: Broad shoulders and passes the eye test with uncanny arm length (36") and large hands (11"). Good first step and attacks with a fiery attitude, sometimes appearing to be the meanest guy in the stadium. Assignment sound and holds contain, setting the edge and using his eyes to quickly react.
Nice job using his limbs to extend and make initial contact, working off blocks. Strong hands and length to strip and rip with a knack for forcing fumbles (eight career FFs). Physical run stopper and lined up mostly at 5-technique end spot at Clemson. Works hard to get underneath blockers and work around the arc to the pocket.

Weaknesses: Streaky snap anticipation and is late off the ball, routinely the last lineman to move. Needs to stay balanced through contact, spending too much time on the ground. Needs to develop more versatility with his pass rush moves, appearing to use the same motion on each snap. Tends to out-run the pocket and struggles to turn the corner.

We think he fits real well what we do on defense

With the 126th pick of the 2013 GML Draft. The Buffalo Bills Select:
Christine Michael, RB, Texas A&M

Buffalo was sweating bullets as the RB names were coming off the boards, but are incredibly happy that Michaels was here at their pick. If not for being in Kevin Sumlin's doghouse his senior year there would be no way a 220lb back at 5'10" that is a mixture of speed (4.43) and power (27 bench reps) would still be on the boards. Michael's will start off as the short yardage/goal line back and joins a powerhouse of running with Spiller/Hunter and Goodson backed by a very solid run blocking line. Is there a defense that can contain this running game? I doubt it.

With pick 127 in the draft the Seattle Seahawks select: Ace Sanders, WR/KR/PR, University of South Carolina

Measurables:
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 173
Arm length: 29 1/2
Hand Length: 8 7/8ths
40: 4.53
20: 2.52
10: 1.58
Bench: 7
Broad Jump: 9'9"
Vertical: 32
Cone: 6.81
Shuttle: 4.37

How Sanders Fits in Seattle
Ace Sanders is one of the most under-the-radar players in this years draft. Like a Tavon Austin Lite, Sanders is an explosive player who gains yards in chunks and makes plays after the catch. Whether on special teams or as a slot receiver Ace Sanders is a fearless young player with reliable hands. With Steve Smith, Mike Wallace, Golden Tate among others stretching the field vertically, Sanders ability to work from the slot for quick passes is a great fit. Sanders will see a lot of 1-1 coverage there in matchups I believe he can win.

With the 128th Pick in the 2013 GML Draft, the 49ers select:

Chris Gragg, TE, Arkansas

The 49ers went out to find an additional playmaker at the Tight End position behind Vernon Davis. Although Gragg's blocking is starting to improve, he has some big play ability that can add an additional dimmension to the already explosive 49ers offense. (Ran the fastest 40-time amungst all Tight Ends at 4.50)

With the 4C3 pick (aka the Levitre pick). The Buffalo Bills select 6'1" 307lb rJr DT from Illinois....... Akeem Spence.

Buffalo thought safety here but couldn't ignore the mid to late 3rd grade on their board. Between Spence and Evans Buffalo's run defence should be much improved.

We are ecstatic to find Cornelius Washington still available in the 5th round. Washington is our BPA and will be able to come in as depth to our Defensive Line and Linebacker unit. Though we drafted Lemonier earlier, we believe Washington can be a very impactful edge rusher and see a number of snaps during his rookie season.

With the 134th pick in the NFL draft the Arizona Cardinals select... Montori Hughes, DT, Tennessee-Martin.

Hughes is a gifted athlete who at 6'4 330+ is light on his feet. He has the athleticism to make it in the NFL but has some character concerns and technique issues. Couldn't pass on this kind of player.

With the 137th pick in the NFL draft the Arizona Cardinals select... Jelani Jenkins, OLB, Florida.

Jenkins joins teammate Josh Evans in Arizona. Jenkins slide was too much to pass up. While he doesn't have ideal size he does have elite movement skills at the LB position. Jenkins skill set allows the Cards to use him as a strong side or weak side LB. Raw in some areas but in time Jenkins can be a standout player.

Tyler Bray, QB, Tennessee

While we have TJ Yates, the upside of Bray was too much to pass up on at this point in the draft. Arm talent is brought up a lot with Bray and for good reason. It doesn't get much better than what he has. There are certainly some major consistency issues with him, but who better to learn to remedy those issues than fellow Volunteer great Peyton Manning? We now feel like we have two young QBs with lots of ability that will challenge each other to be the successor for Manning when his time in the NFL is done.

Rams Take: In the 5th round we get a wide out that can get you some tough yards inside. Although we feel that we got that in our first rounder Deandre Hopkiins, we feel Josh adds to our depth at the position. His measurements are fantastic. Running a 4.34 40, 6.68 3 cone and 10.11 broad jump. People might look at that and think why is he just a "slot" guy. He's got pretty decent size, at 5.11 206 pounds. So we look at him and say he's a playmaker. His draft stock is a bit of a question mark due to a broken pinky toe. But he recently had surgery on it and should be ready for practice in about 4 to 6 weeks.

David is a guy who really impressed us during Senior Bowl week, and he followed that up with a great combine. We had planned to sit back and wait until our pick, but when the chance to move up presented itself we wanted to be sure we got our top guy. David may need some help early on (whether chips on the edge or moved inside), but he really fits what we want in our lineman (athleticism and versatility), and has a lot of talent to work with. David likely won't be asked to play much as a rookie, so he'll be given the chance to get stronger and more accustomed to the speed of the pro game, but we're really excited about his future.

while I got a second to comprehend and function in between blacking out once again, i don't know, but screw you. actually I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that. in reality there's not much to expect when you go down the road less traveled. you come across some interesting characters and for the most part, you start to wonder what the hell is going on? and then the girl freaks out, like it's MY fault she couldn't handle her alcohol?! boy oh boy, the stories that could be told whenever me and sobriety are together. then again, did Mikey really have to call Nikki that many times? it's one of those times when you really just have to ponder your next move, like a 12 pack or is it really gonna get ugly and go for the 18 pack. brutality to the liver, says no one ever. get me to the top of that hill the guy yells, but sincerely in a kind matter. holla at ya boy, Dallas picks will Davis, cb from Utah state? I think he went there. anyways, we both blacked out and needless to say, I kinda didn't but it faired out pretty nicely for me.

With the 149th Pick in the 2013 GML Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select ...

chris harper, wr, kansas state university

It's always nice to get a pick that you wanted earlier and score value. With Chris Harper, we've done just that. We considered Harper way back at the top of Round 4, but gambled that he would fall and it paid off. Honestly, we're surprised he's still available here. From a tools perspective, we think this guy has what it takes to develop into a solid player down the road.

One of the things we wanted to do this offseason was surround Christian Ponder with more weapons. Sure, he's got the best running back of this generation in the backfield, but we felt like we had to do something about the receiver situation. While we were happy with the guys we traded and signed (Jason Avant, Domenik Hixon), as well as the returning youth (Greg Childs, Jairus Wright), we felt like we needed to add more to the unit.

Measurables
• Position: Wide Receiver
• University: Kansas State
• Height: 6'1"
• Weight: 229 lbs
• Hands: 9 3/4"
• 40 Yard Dash: 4.55 seconds
• Bench Press: 20 Reps
• Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches
Harper, like many Bill Snyder products, is a converted QB, who is still getting comfortable with the wide receiver position. What I like about him is his toughness. This guy is fearless over the middle and not afraid of contact. He's tough to bring down in the open field and very strong for his size. The scouting report below compares him to Early Doucet; I see him as more of a poor man's Anquan Boldin or Jordy Nelson. More impressive is the fact that he's been playing the position for a short time, especially factoring in the time he lost while redshirting. Some may get hung up on the 40 time here. Others may point to his lack of production and wonder why he didn't put it together in college. I've had the rare opportunity to scout this guy personally, and I can tell you that his short area quickness is not a concern. He will be able to get off the line. And he's strong enough at the point of attack he isn't going to get jammed by smaller cornerbacks. As for the production argument, I think it's miraculous he did what he did, considering that Colin Klein was essentially a less accurate Tim Tebow last season. Think about that for a second. All in all, we think he's an underrated prospect and could very well develop into a solid starter for us down the line.

In Chris Harper, we get a physical, able-bodied wide receiver who offers polished route-running and has the potential to develop into a very good receiver for us down the road. We're very excited to get him this late in the draft.

STRENGTHS
Looks the part of an NFL starter, with height, length, and a strong overall build. Holds the line and edge well when on his game, uses strong hands and long arms to get leverage. Very agile for his size, can move with tight ends and running backs in the flat, hurdle cut blockers, and stunt with explosiveness. Can be quick in short spaces once he's in motion.

WEAKNESSES
Struggles to use his hands to disengage. Play seems to stop after making contact too often. Very leggy out of his stance, takes too many steps to get started. Loses his balance trying to turn the corner.

With the 154th pick, the Philadelphia Eagles select, Sanders Commings, CB, from Georgia.

STRENGTHS - Commings possesses outstanding size for the position. He possesses the height, length and bulk of a safety but the athleticism and fluidity of a smaller NFL CB. He does an excellent job of staying over his feet in his pedal which allows him to flip his hips and change directions fluidly without losing ground in transition. In man coverage he displays a solid feel for his man's route and shows the awareness and acceleration to cut routes off at the break point and play the ball in the air. He plucks the ball away from his frame naturally and has the speed to score once he's made the interception. Against the run he is quick to attack and gain leverage on blockers, and breaks down in space with excellent base and leverage.

WEAKNESSES - Commings needs to be more consistently physical in man coverage, as he tends to give free releases off the LOS and allow his man to get in and out of his break uncontested. He doesn't display the same instincts in zone coverage that he does in man, as he tends to be a beat late recognizing and closing on assignments. While he is usually in position to make tackles against the run, he tends to leave his feet and miss arm tackles.

SUMMARY - Sanders Commings hasn't received as much hype as several of his defensive teammates at Georgia, but he is clearly a top level prospect in his own right. Few NFL CBs possess his combination of size, strength and athleticism, and he has the versatility to produce in a number of roles. Although he needs to be more physical jamming at the LOS, he is effective in man coverage because of his fluid hips, instincts, body control and ball skills. He displays the speed and lateral agility to stay with crossing routes out of the slot, and possesses the strength and base to be an effective player against the run. NFL scouts will certainly have questions about his January 2012 arrest for simple battery and domestic violence, but his high upside could convince a team to select him much higher than the media projects.
