I use Mac and PC about 50/50 - have one of each at home and at work. While I have no problems with windows software, I do have a problem with the PC hardware it's run on - specifically on laptops. Most of your standard Dell laptops are complete POS that need to be replaced much more often than a MAC laptop, which pretty much balances out the disproportionate costs between the two. At work, my life is definitely better with the MAC product.

Unless you are okay with paying double or triple the price for what you are getting, which is usually garbage, Dell should never be purchased for residential applications. I can pretty much build a computer from scratch for 300$ that they sell for 1200$ online.

edit: Laptops are a little bit different, their prices are a tiny bit better, but still atrocious in their own right. Building laptops is a PITA because of the barebone kits you have to work with, but even then i would never ever ever buy a dell.

what in the world would having a mac cause a problem with a web site? the only issue here would be the browser they are using, and as a guy who does a lot of web development, I can promise you that IE (only windows) is a much bigger problem then any operating system. Any web issues are issues with browsers, and firefox, chrome, and safari are all cross operating system.

You've never heard of problems mac users have even stemming down to basic html based issues on browsers? Aside from the OS's default browser being a complete POS to the real word, the hardware in itself could be causing issues that affect the software.

and FWIF, no one uses IE anymore.

Follow the link I posted and you will see it is across the line on all browsers. I am now having to reply to this via my phone because some mod decided to be a jerk and move the thread into the thread where it now can't be seen.

This is happening across the board on all iOS platforms and all browsers.

Borrowed JT's already stellar work to see what stripes would look like on the compression shirt sleeves, for ****s and giggles:

Another problem I see with the new logo was on display during the NFL channel's Path to the Draft - when they showed a photo of the player, the new Dolphin logo was along side of them and it looked like the Dolphin was whispering in their ear or eating their brains. The logo seemed to wide for the graphic.

In all fairness, I don't believe you having problems viewing the thread would warrant its own thread transition like that. (not saying I disagree with you) Just saying that is probably the line of thinking because this thread is so massive and popular. Also haven't really seen anyone else mention that problem. Wish I knew more about poop iOS so I could offer some advice. Sorry bud

try clearing cookies and see if the problem. No one else is having an issue. The WWE thread has 275 pages and that caused no issues

its amazing the improvements on the Dolphin uni was when they made the drop shadow smaller about 6 years ago. Should have gotten rid of them all together, but he atleast now they will!

Re: Miami Dolphins New Logo/Uniform Thread: New Logo Comfirmed

    Hey buddy.

  16. Not sure what you guys are talking about, but for my phone I use a landline, and I NEVER have any problems out of it, well except when the phone line gets tangled with my beer and knocks it off the desk. But usually if my wife isn't in the room I can blame the spill on her cat, which gets my wife to clean the spill AND gets me a chance to throw the remote at the cat.

As for the Mac, we only have two types in our house. One is the Big Mac, and the other is the Mac & Cheese, and to be quite frank, neither of them tend to last more than a few minutes. To the best of my knowledge we have never had an android visit.

Seems more natural to have them there to me. For the white jersey I would use a white compression shirt with aqua and orange stripes.

Looking at all the jerseys Miami wore, i realized that Miami had a real identity issue with their colors. I see different shades of aqua from 72-2012.

I would almost put money on the fact the people in charge of this are watching these fan forums everyday. Would not be surprised to see a variant of quite a few of the ideas posted here incorporated into the final product.

I'm willing to bet its because of the haphazard nature of Robbie's take on logos. I truly think that he didn't give two ****s about how the logo looked. But we got success pretty quickly because of Shula and then at that point, changing colors or logos in any significant degree was probably met with the same stances and attitude we've seen recently.

Nope. Looks like we are going back to the original Dolphin colors, which is cool and a good color look to. I remember when I first found out the colors were changing and I hated it, what was I thinking, the early colors are so much better then the 97-2012 colors

no, I've never heard of internet browsing being an issue with a mac. EVER. and I've been in the web application business for 12 years. the OS's default browser, safari, is not a complete POS, it uses webkit to render pages, so it sees the web exactly the same as chrome (also webkit). that's a cross OS rendering engine, and the same rendering engine used by the ios version of safari. the default web browser on windows machines (IE) however uses it's own rendering engine (trident) that refuses to adhere to web standards to the point the web developers have to hack their code up all over the place to make it "okay" in IE while safari and firefox render pages beautifully.

IE10 is supposed to finally break into following web standards (they started with IE9, but IE10 is supposed to continue that) but those browsers can only be installed on windows 7 or 8, and most users browsing the net are still using XP.

Me either ATLFINFAN. That's why I asked JT to redo it without anything on the sleeves? Jersey sleeves or compression sleeves.

I'd also like to see the "new blue" outline around the numbers and down the pant legs (along with the orange).

    JT...can do???

    Laptop Specs: http://news.cnet.com/8301-10805_3-5...touch-screen-acer-laptop-desktop-up-for-sale/

I've got an HP for my work computer. It's good for what it does and what I need to use it for, but it's certainly not the greatest. I got the ACER for myself and I love it compared to my old laptop, which was also an HP.

For the Odyssey, it's not the greatest in terms of apps, but I admittedly don't use them very much. I use it mainly to keep tabs on work stuff when I'm out of the office - I have to travel a decent amount - and I don't add games or any apps like that. That being said, there's a good selection of them in the Microsoft store, but you have to connect using XBOX Live to get the full experience with them, which IMO, isn't really worth it. But I've not had any issues in terms of call quality, messaging, battery life is great, etc.

To keep this Dolphins related, I kept all my tiles in what Microsoft calls a "Teal" color. It's pretty close to the new shade of aqua, and it came with NFL Mobile on it since my carrier is Verizon, so I can access pretty much anything Dolphins related on NFL.com at the touch of a button, which is kind of nice.
