Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

What's with the black hat, gray long sleeve and black strips sleeves on the women's t shirt???

 

It looks like miami is embracing the White. wiith the other white hat. Also with the black hat, maybe they are using black in their uni. Most likely the white and black hats are just there to get something out with the new logo but maybe

 

On Hartline's instagram account there is a photo of him with a female fan and he is sporting the same t-shirt that Odrick was wearing at the children's hospital. I find it funny that this is the shirt that the dolphin's are using to reveal the new logo. It looks like a basic white cotton t-shirt that someone ironed on the new logo. I'm not knocking the new logo, just the quality of the application on the shirt. I guess the FO really got caught with their pants down when the logo was leaked.

 

It isn't the hat being white or black (the color themselves) being an issue. I just don't care for such basic hats (in that color at least). Maybe it is just me, but those hats just look kind of cheap too (like the kind they give away in free promotions). I have white and black dolphins hats that I love.

I find it odd that they would go with basic colors black n white on hats - t shirts to introduce the new logo.
I'll wait for them to bring out a full slate line off gear before I buy anything.

BTW - I hope you didn't pay $$ for that ugly whit hat.... Lol

You don't need to pretend that you like that hat. We all buy something's that we regret.

 

That shirt is as basic as can be haha. Pretty much a cheap quality white t, you can get one made yourself just like it (or maybe better) at a local shirt printing store.

Can't wait to see some with words and the script logo and such.

 

Might need to switch your name from Stitches to Slim Shaddy.

 

Basic is perfectly fine in hats for most normal people. Hat needs to be 2 or 3 things for me:

1. Solid color with the logo centered.
2. Floppy (or slouch as they are called)
3. Fitted if at all possible.

Flat bills, junked up logos, decorations on the hat, off-colors, side logos, etc...that is all for a section of the population that I am not a part of.

 

Is this the first OFFICIAL tattoo of the new logo?

I may be wrong but it just looks to clean to be a new tattoo, no redness or anything.

Hi guys, been following this thread for a while and finally decided to join. Thanks to all who have provided nuggets of info and to JT for his great mockups. Just wanted to share something with you guys, being this is my first post: I went to the miamidolphins.com online shop and you can pre-order an aqua Mike Wallace jersey. I'm assuming as it's pre-order, it's going to be the new jersey? Interesting that it's aqua, so I'm guessing that will still be the focus and not the white when it comes to selling jerseys? I know there was a lot of talk over how much emphasis the aqua jerseys would have when the new ones roll out. Cheers!

 

Me personally, i'm like DJ when I say i have my credit card ready to order all my swag when all the stuff is officially announced/released. Although, I would not personally preorder anything until then just in case, but thats just me. See Deej? This thread alone has brought like umteen new members to the board... Don't need to feel so bad about lovin the aesthetics.

Also, I seem to remember a couple of you mentioned that you didn't know much about Nike jerseys as you didn't buy them last season.

Speaking from my experience, I used to try and get the authentic Reebok jerseys because the replicas were so cheap looking/feeling, but given I knew the uniform change was coming, I bought white and aqua replica jerseys last season. I have to say, the jerseys in general are a lot better than the Reebok. I looked at the authentics, but honestly couldn't justify the price given that I couldn't find them cheaper and I knew I'd have to replace them this year. However, I was impressed by the Nike replica and Limited (which I plan to get this season). The material itself feels thicker or more dense. And the screen printed numbers had silicone in I think, which also made them feel thicker and better quality. I still do like the stitched numbers, which is why I plan to get the limited jerseys. However, I didn't see enough of a difference between them and the authentic (elite) to justify the price tag. They really are quite similar, except the Elite jerseys have the vented panels for the players.

Hope that helps those of you that didn't buy jerseys last season.

What's jaw dropping is subjective. Also cool to see the aqua still there. Like I said white jerseys don't seek. Makes no sense not having aqua even if they don't wear it

So are you saying the Nikes replicas are worth the buy In comparison to the addidas replicas? I'm not really wanting to buy an elite one.... Maybe a custom one. One thing I want to know is how it stacks up to the old ones on how it fits and feels

 

I never said that Dee was the one to make these claims...

 

Could be like 7-10 days old. The redness will have gone away by then if you apply the ointment as you should, and it will still be somewhat 'shiny' for a lack of a better word. The constant application of ointment will make it somewhat shiny.

Hats look nice. Aqua is beautiful.

 

The new logo looks more like a stadium or promoting logo. I just can't see it as a team logo. Looks lame to be a team logo.

 

I ordered one of the fitted caps. Hopefully, Nike comes out with a Dri-FIT I can wear playing golf.

 

Those just released hats look amazing in front of the team name. Still no new script logo though. (Those plain block letters are the same for every team's draft hat. Nice draft hats this season for all the teams) I like the "Dolphins" one better than the "Miami" one since it looks like MI()MI.
