Beyond childish, I know, but I call this one my "Jets dream draft"...

Your score is: -67 (Drafting Ability: , Player Quality , Future Draft Picks: )

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 8(BUF): Tyler Bitancurt, K, West Virginia (F)
'Godfather' Sparano taught us the importance of getting 3 points whenever possible, so with that in mind we traded our 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks, and our 2014 1st, to move up 1 spot ahead of Buffalo to stop them stealing our kicker.
Round 4 Pick 9: Taylor Accardi, P, Colorado Mines (F)
Of course there are times when you just can't get close enough to kick a FG, no matter how hard we try, so best to add a punter too for those unfortunate situations. Didn't even have to trade any extra picks for this one...a bargain! And going by his college, he's also a miner, so that should keep him busy in the off-season and out of trouble.
Round 5 Pick 8: Collin Klein, QB, Kansas State (F)
Our fans were screaming for a QB to replace ol' Buttfumble, and they liked having that non-QB Tebow around, so we thought it would be a good idea to replace Buttfumble with another QB who can't throw. That way there's just no chance of us screwing up by getting enough for a 1st down. Don't want to put our new kicker and punter out of business.
Round 6 Pick 1 (JAX): Matt McGloin, QB, Penn State (F)
No idea who this guy is, but our Irish NY fans love the sounds of his name and have already renamed him 'Pat' McGloin, plus he went to that famous Penn State college and there's no way an institute of that standing would ever have anything to do with anyone not of the highest regard. He comes out of college squeaky clean, as he tells us he loved going to the showers whenever he could.

I traded away next year's 1st to move up to snag Rhodes in the bottom of the first round (Minny's second first round pick). But, I think it was worth it. Really, I was stoked with my first four picks! But, I mistakenly picked Slay forgetting I already had to corners (doing this while working you know). But, given our backfield issues, maybe not the worst mistake to make? And, I missed out on Swope by two picks in the third, settling for Da'Rick Rogers instead. Admittedly, the last 4-5 picks are the equivalent of me throwing darts at a dart board blindfolded. I have no frickin' clue about any of those guys.

After reading through CK's thread on Ireland's presser: http://www.thephins.com/forums/showthread.php?76055-Ireland-s-Pre-Draft-Press-Conference

I decided to run one based off those discussions and also stick to (+/-) 1 round grade of the NFL Draft Scout rankings in making my selections: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/probe.php?genpos=QB&draftyear=2013&sortby=tsxpos&order=ASC

I had to run through a few drafts before I got the first nine picks that was mostly realistic. Then a few more to finally get a team to let me trade up with them to #10. My goal was to trade up to #7 to grab Lane but AZ would not come off that pick no matter what I offered. So I just let it slide and got the Titan's #10 pick for a 2014 1st rounder (yes, I know, it wouldn't cost that much to move up two spots but the game script was being ******ed!)

    Picks with notes:

Round 1 Pick 10 (TENN): Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma (A)
    - Might be gone by this pick but it was the only way I could get him due to unrealistic draft game settings.

Round 1 Pick 22 (STL): Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina (A)
    - Another player that might not be available at this spot. I tried trading up for him from about #15 on down until the Rams finally accepted the deal for both my 2nd round picks and higher 3rd rounder. Stoopid game! :pity:

    Round 3 Pick 24 (IND): B.W. Webb, CB, William & Mary (B+)
    - Got this pick after trading down from #84 with the Bengals and picking up a 4th rounder in the process
    - Draft Scout rates him as a 4th round value but there was a run on CBs early in the 3rd round so I grabbed him here. I wanted Blidi Wreh-Wilson here but Skins snapped him up one pick ahead of mine so the trade down cost me.

Round 4 Pick 21 (CINN): Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M (B+)
    - This was the 4th rounder from Cincy
    - Stedman Bailey was still on the board but I resisted taking him because as many believe he will be grabbed in the 2nd round. Swope is rated as 3rd round value but we'll just pretend he slipped through the cracks since I had to pass on Bailey here :tongue2:

Round 4 Pick 27 (HOU): Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati (A-)
    - I acquired this pick with a trade down of #111 with the Titans and getting their 6th rounder
    - Kelce is also valued as a 3rd rounder by Draft Scout but I figured what the hell :D

Round 5 Pick 13: Josh Evans, FS, Florida (A)
    - Draft Scout says he is 4th round value ... oh well ... I took him anyway.

Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): Josh Boyd, DT, Mississippi State (A)
    - Fits the round value of Draft Scout

Round 6 Pick 27 (HOU): Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas (C-)
    - Davis is listed as 7th round value so I didn't think it would hurt to grab him at end of Round 6. Draft game says my pick smells like poo

Round 7 Pick 11: Rod Sweeting, CB, Georgia Tech (A)
    - Decent value according to Draft Scout and the game would seem to agree

Round 7 Pick 18: Joe Kruger, DE, Utah (C-)
    - Figured I needed a DE at some point but Kruger was the only one left that Draft Scout didn't have a UDFA grade on.

Round 7 Pick 44 (COMP): Eric Stevens, FB, California (F)
    - I was hoping K Sturgis would make it here but the Lions grabbed him a few picks before mine. I probably could flip the Kruger/Stugis picks and gotten them both though. The game's "team needs" list says we needed a FB so I grabbed Stevens and got another poo grade by the game for my efforts :D

I am going to run through a few more and see if I can get a draft that aligns players with their Draft Scout grades a bit better.

This game showed me how little I know about the draft. Almost every player I know about is from reading this forum. Thank you everyone for increasing my knowledge.

That's amazing. I've done the draft on that site about 10 times. Only once has Austin been available at 12. Every other time, SD took him at 11. The grades they give the players based on where they get picked, don't make sense about half the time either.

I don't get this. They say the quality of players you got are A, but your ability is a C.

So is the goal not to get good players?
