I don't even wanna get into an arguement with Heat fans, who surely have already decided that this is a legitimate article and the Heat fans (and their storied franchise) are by far the loyalist fans on the planet.

If the Knicks are a "storied" franchise..then surely another franchise with MORE hardware should be one as well.

Right, and why are the Heat garnering so much attention lately?? It took 3 All Stars deciding to play there to bring life to the franchise. Thats not loyalty. You lose Wade and those guys team up in Chicago for example??? Your the Orlando Magic. Again that's not loyalty that's called bandwagoning.

The year the Heat won 15 games? 9th in total attendance with a 99.3 capacity.

The Knicks that year? 10th.

 

So people in Miami are natural basketball die hards....oooooook.

For the record I don't feel like the Heat fans in this thread are bandwagoners, but I'm not going to be convinced they havr the "loyalist" fans in the league.

Miami best suited as a basketball town. Basketball is more popular internationally, and with urban people. It's a basketball town before anything else.

 

All I'm going to say is, lets see how loyal they are after they suffer 5 years of mediocrity. That's when loyalty is tested, not when you're constant winners.

Nope. Heat has better attendance than Boston as well for the last 16 years. LA beats them out though.

Not only did the Suns lose out on the 3rd best lotto chances, but they went from a potential late lotto pick to the 30th pick in about a week. Sucks for them.

 

Couldn't agree more, anything less than a trip to the ECF vs Miami is a failed season. While it would surely suck, the big picture is losing to the Heat in that setting is nothing to be ashamed of and you couldn't really complain about the 12-13 season.

Knicks get there and take it to 6?? And it's been a great season.

 

Secret weapon.

 

Could set us up for a good off season in terms of some player moves. Could be interesting to see where CP3 wants to be if LAC gets bounced early again.
