So yeah, it explains why the blue looks different on shirts and such,

 

Also, according to ColorWerx with his colors, there is no black in the uniform scheme.

 

Very interesting and exciting for even me now. I've seen three different mock ups at this point, as well as TWO commercial spots (both Nike) so I'm not sure what the hell Im expecting at this point

I think it could have been a decoy uni to prevent leakage, old prototype uniforms, or last minute changes.

Which? They definitely flirted with the idea of the black lined uni. Miami submitted it as part of discovery for a lawsuit.

All of them could have been previous versions of the unis you sent me. The 2nd one I think will be closer for obvious reasons. I think it's the 2nd one minus the black

Thanks for clarifying. I was disappointed for a while there because I like the new lighter scheme. It's refreshing.

 

Would love to see what you've seen. I work in marketing/consumer insights and so I'm used to seeing ad spots and product concepts before the general public, so I know how to not share sensitive materials to avoid people at certain brands losing their jobs.

Let's just say there is only 5 people working with him, and he's the only one who does what he does so if I say that, it'd instantly reveal him to anyone reading this with knowledge in the office. He works in "marketing"

Hope so I LOVE the black outline, and I don't think that helmet pic with Tanny tells us either way...

 

IMO, here is our new helmet stripe and font for numbers and name

I think Crazy's source might be looking at photo that is in a different kind of light so that the blue looks black. Or maybe he is just color blind?

 

I'm with you. Black makes no sense. Things don't need black outlines. Too many teams have black already, and don't give me that "all teams wear white bs". White provides a better contrast with any color. Black has ruined the Lions and Eagles. The Eagles more-so since they're already suffering from what all leagues here in the US are suffering from: thick border logo syndrome. Is it just me or does it seem like the same design firm is churning out all these new logos...(pro/college).

 

Yikes. That's gonna look terrible. Almost as bad as Dwight Howard when he wears that black undershirt with Laker Purple or yellow.

 

He's not looking at photos. He holds the jersey and looks directly at it.

Black just makes ZERO sense as a complimentary color in a design featuring aqua, coral and white...

Let's hope Crazy's friend is yanking our chain.

The photo clearly shows an orange stroke around the aqua helmet stripe, so at least we know that much is for sure.

 

That's not a black line, that is the aliasing of the JPG conversion. It's trying to dither between the orange and blue.

I don't think there is black to be honest. Makes no sense, there is no hint of black on the Dolphins website, and I am pretty sure Black would have to be a color in the Dolphins scheme in order to use it, and according to Colorwerx, there is no black at all. Maybe I am proven wrong, but if anything I see the Aqua, blue, orange, but I still think its Aqua orange.

Considering the logo isn't the correct logo, I woild say this photo is nothing more than a prototype before they decided what they were going to do. Probably one of several models they had to zero in on the final design and logo.

 

why is the logo not correct? looks correct to me. Its hard to distinguish the blue because of the darkness

 

That's black?? Too me it's just a bad quality pic that makes the blue look a lot darker than it is. Just like in some pictures, the '97-'12 looks black in bad lighting.
