Michael Redd says the Bucks will beat the Heat in 6 games. Which of course means the Heat will win by 70 in the NBA's first ever 2 game series.
After a terrible week for the country, I don't want to bring the events that happened in to this thread. However. Those games in Boston gonna be a lot louder after everything that happened. I'm not saying Celtics gonna turn back time and morph in to the 2008 squad, but I think based on human emotion alone, guys are gonna feed off that.
Since you are the only Knicks fan I really know, feel free to share the speculation with me. Seriously I would keep it private.
Ahh the pressure, can you imagine if the Knicks lose today??? Home court goes to the Celts and we become underdogs to advance. Will be interesting to see how we respond to the atmosphere. 3p can't get here soon enough. Having a party at my house with some ribs, and beer...you're all invited. See you soon .
I think it has the potential to be the most interesting first round series. The Celtics just do not lay down and die. Without Rondo it's hard to see the Knicks losing the series though.
Yeah, but in the playoffs where you can gameplay and take away parts of their game I think the loss of a major piece like that will start to show a little more. Still, I think they have the moxie to take you six or seven. I dunno though, the Knicks take so many jump shots it's impossible to call. They could come out red hot and run the Celtics out of the series or hit a slump and find themselves eliminated in the first. My gut is Knicks in six or seven though.
I agree for the most part, but you don't see Chicago beating Brooklyn? I think that series should at least go 6-7 games.
I'd have favored the Bulls if Noah were healthy. With him ailing they are just missing too many pieces.
Will Melo still wear green headband he has been on fire with, despite it being the oppositions prime color??? Hmm
So who does everyone have in the first round? I'm say Heat in 4 Knicks in 6 Bulls in 6 Pacers in 5 Thunder in 5 Spurs in 7 Clippers in 6 Nuggets in 6
Ofcourse, they are a veteran basketball team and know how to win in this setting. As does their coach. Ny is getting frustrated they aren't getting calls in the paint, that CAN'T stop them from penetrating.
It feels like a lot of it is the lack of a consistent second option when Anthony is on the floor. The Knicks have no way to make the Celtics play for sending extra men at Carmelo.
Felton was driving playing great defense and creating in the 1st half....guess it makes sense to keep him on the bench most of the 3rd.
Your head coach Steve Harvey has the best facial hair and the best sideline expressions ever. Bar none. But yeah, sitting Felton in the 2nd half makes no sense.
celtics offense has no flow I figured they would of had some kind of pg play by now rondo got hurt pretty early in the year
