Meh. I mean they're good, but they could have been so much better if the orange was a little thicker and they had some old school stripes on the sleeves. The aqua jersey is better, because it makes a good background for the orange. You can barely see any on the white.

I like the plain font on the jerseys...but I really hope they don't change the Script logo to something plain. Is it that ugly computer font that is on the stand and on the frontpage of the website now? The old font was unique, whatever that is screams "Microsoft Word"

Considering the fact you've been pushing for our re-branding more than anyone....this must be an awesome day because these jerseys are sick - perfect blend of old school and modern. Now we need to surprise everyone and skip the OL round 1 and end up with Austin or Eifert.

 

Not sure how much old school there is. Next to none if you ask me.

It was planned that way all along. The doors to the draft party didn't open till 7:00.

 

Take a look at the close ups of the numbers and the name. The colors make these look really old school if you ask me. The fat stripes and the logo are the modern parts, the colors are the old school.

 

The fact it's simple and clean makes it "old school". They could have gone the direction of the Seahawks (who's uniforms look terrible and will need to be changed almost every other year) or the Arena League look (Atlanta etc).

Clean and simple is old school.

 

I have to admit the '1' does look a bit odd, though...

 

Nice job, but what is up with the photographs? The color varies from photo to photo, sometimes we look like the old Oilers, sometimes we look like the Dolphins. Also, could you have given Mike Wallace a bigger set of pads to wear?

Very pleased though, the numbers look different than the leaked photo a couple days ago.

Too bland for my taste. Also, it's a little wierd how the orange disappears in some photos.

 

My final verdict:

Logo - Nice, fresh.
Colors- Great.
Jerseys - Good, but need more orange.
Wordmark - Poor, went from something unique to some lazy generic Microsoft Word font.

 

Think about it.
When we go to Buffalo and New England in December we will be harder to see camouflaged as snowballs.

 

pretty sure its the damn photographers with their settings and post-photo shoot touch ups to make the Nike uniforms seem...intense, or insane.

Vikings unis are better, even the skeumorphic numbers are a bit corny. Nike kinda did that with Miami too... The numbers have a "wave" look to them.

But what the Vikings did that the dolphins didn't is that they knew how to use their secondary color yellow. Those touches really help the design stand out. The contrast between yellow and purple help it stand out. That is what the orange would help do for the dolphins design, but they chose to completely ignore orange. Sad.

 

Very cool, but the Marino uni is not quite right, by the time they went to that jersey, the pant stripes had changed to aqua-white-orange-white-aqua...

 

I bet Sammie Smith fumbled right after that picture was taken.

 

They had jersey with just a white stripe? None that i recall.

I'm buying a white Tannehill. It looks great. The aqua IS a little dull. I love the simpleness but I do think sleeve stripes on the aqua jerseys would have looked great.

if there is no alternative one I ain't buying crap lol. Everytime I buy a dolphins jersey the player disappears anyways

 

Not a huge fan of the rounded numbers.

 

Marino used to cut his off and only have the single white stripe. Which caused me to do it to every jersey I had...LOL!
