I'm fairly certain we are not trading up fellas. Why would they announce they will wait until after round one to continue talks with the Cheifs? Johns would have to fall to at least 9 IMO. I don't see that happening.
Cant see a move this high for johnson. The Big 2 were iffy enough giving up what it would take, Johnson is not worth it. Sit tight and see what happens. Edit - for us. Could see a team like Detroit trying to leap Philly potentially.
Apparently they either weren't around or don't remember the multi-year nightmare following the career ending injury to Mark Dixon.
Exactly, now with Joekel gone too, Johnson will be very soon likely as well. This team needs a LT. The Cheifs have us bent over the barrel now IMO. They have the tackles, we don't. We're desparate for a LT.
I fail to understand why anyone on this board is hoping for no tackles to be available. We currently have Nate Garner at right tackle. I don't care if we have the best collection of skilled players in the history of the league and Joe Montana at quarterback, if we don't fix the tackle position we are totally ****ed.
reports are raiders are thinking Geno? That would be an interesting pick, but definitely not out of the ordinary for Chokeland
All the people opposing us for not wanting the phins trading up for a tackle are acting like we don't want to get one at all. Ridiculous. Picks are worth more than money right now
It's not a sexy pick. A receiver or a tight end is a sexy pick. You need playmakers, we have them. You also need meat and potatoes players. Tackles, guards. Our tackles are rubbish. You don't win playoff games with our tackles. Hell, you don't PLAY playoff games with our tackles.
We are not going into the season with Garner as starting T. Martin/Winston would likely be fine, but chances are we make SOME move for Albert, or try for someone like Watson/Armstead in 2-3.
