Vikes nailed 3 big impact players all at great value, imo, below where they should've gone.

 

Well to be honest, Vikings just came out of this draft with 3 day one starters. Shariff Floyd, Xavier Rhodes and Cordarrelle Patterson. That's an impressive haul.

 

Yeah his drafts lately have reminded me a lot of Shula's towards the end of his career

The patriots did exactly what they should've done. They didn't have a glaring need and there wasn't a glaring player that they needed to draft, so they stockpiled picks for later where the talent pool is almost just as deep.
