Figures. If he was so bad, why was he rated so high by will of the draft guru's.

For them to say we paid a steep price is foolish, we essentially only gave up a 2nd rounder to move up 9 spots into the top 5.

Why are you watching this? An earthworm has more knowledge and is more objective than Skip Bayless.

Look at what Redskins gave up last year to move from 6 to 2. I realize position was a factor, but still.

I mean i saw this late and i switched from NFLN to ESPN and caught BOTH of them praising the Cowboys for selecting that C everyone thought was a questionable pick in the 1st round.

At this point, Skip Bayless has the credibility of the Iraqi Minister of Defense.

They literally had NO CLUE what they were talking about. It's so entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

Well the price is steep considering how much talent there is on the second round. You can do the calculations and say oh it's 500 points what ever, sorry but the second round is too deep and there is too many options at pass rushers IMO.

Dion Jordan is warming up to me and I'm excited to watch him play, but still....

I didn't like that for the most part he was a situational pass rush rusher for Oregon. The more I think about it though the more I think Philbin's plan is to make him a starting linebacker for us and Oliver will still be the starting defense end this year.

I don't see any reason to give up on Oliver yet I think he's still going to be a very good player.

That show is an utter joke. Neither of them have any clue about Dion Jordan, they just talk out of their a** or look at a stat sheet. There's very little sports talk actually happening on that show; it's all hero worship, ridiculous bold predictions (that they come back to and can say 'Look, I was right!'), and psychological/character assumptions about athletes that are irresponsible and offensive. Though it's kind of funny to youtube some of their lowest moments and see media ethics and sports talk integrity go up in flames as they continue shouting incredulously.

Those guys are idiots. Screamin A Smith doesn't even have a clue about his own sport (basketball). Bayless is a moron too. It's one of the dumbest shows on ESPN if not the dumbest. I can't stand what ESPN has become. It's headed towards the same direction of MTV. Now they have hired a bunch of sex kittens in short skirts that know nothing about sports. "Buh buh they sher are pertty to look at". Sorry that some of you have brutally ugly wives or no wives/girlfriends but i'd rather watch ESPN for the sports knowledge not a female reporter doing a strip tease to Poetic Justice by Kendrick Lamar the crappiest rapper alive. And yeah...Screaming A Smith and Bayless are females too they are just ugly ones.

Hey, just remember... LeBron James took so long to win a championship because the pressure that was put on him by Skip Bayless was too much.

I would not watch that show if you paid me. It would have to be 3 figures at least to get me to watch it. Esp. discussing a player or team I'm interested in.

Skip and his pink polo shirts is a joke. He should be commenting on badminton or something. Stephen is a nerd who tries to overcompensate by speaking loud. He's a tool.

    Here and there
Here's the deal with talking heads like these two, and to alot of degrees most of them on espn, nfln or whatever you like to watch is this, these guys throw out what they try to pass off as their own expert advice, but reality is, they are just mocking others and the common perception of a team and players and where they will be selected or who a team wants and needs. The talking heads do mocks to compete with co workers and friends and show their friends and family how smart they are, "no worries Bob your team will go LT or CB. "No worries George if Miami trades up it's for a tackle" "I work for ESPN i AM an expert"

    THEN

Miami moves up to the 3rd pick....No worries George they are going after Lane Johnson..."see I told you,,i have inside info"..

Then the pick is made... "DION JORDON".....talking heads sit there sweating...eyes on them...feeling the prssure of flubbing up...."well OBVIOUSLY that was a terrible pick,,and here's why...

So you are watching people that have to save face because after all THEY are experts.

It's a sad state of sports journalisim.

I was with you until you said Kendrick Lamar was one of the crappiest rappers alive. That statement killed your credibility with me. Not that you care about what I think, but yeah thats my opinion.

I don't watch it enough to have seen that, but that is hilarious. What does he think? This is the 1960s or something? Maybe he'll come out in a Nehru jacket sometime too.

Without steering away from topic thats your opinion and I have mine,
To me it's all hype or a massive shift in the Hip Hop world I missed. But, hey, that's my opinion. I could be wrong, but I don't see how.
I don't like him. I don't knoc anyone for liking him, I think I can see why you like, It's not bad taste of hate, just not my cup of tea.
Rap has officially jumped the shark at this point in time. "Commercially" maybe he's the hottest thing out there but I could list a dozen underground MC's that you would think are pretty good too. Some people just don't know any better. There is an entire world outside of MTV and what you hear on your local radio stations.
I gave a listen to his entire album before responding to this because I was originally judging him off of his horrid wack *** performance on ESPN a couple weeks ago, and I actually try and give situations the benefit of the doubt. Call it deep thinking.
Kendrick is talented i'll give him that, but he is the same formulaic rapper as them all
    Women, weather, weed,
    One slightly socially conscious song,
A feature on a club song,
    Single for the chicks.
He's putting food on the table so again....Can't knock that but i'm someone that would rather pocket none than have to pay the price.
Luckily his album has some gems on it but he isn't really switching the game up at all and that is what I look for with hip hop.
To his defense I could easily see that being the label's doing, though....making him make those type of songs. Who knows...I've been listening to and doing hip hop music for quite a while now so I have my opinions. The ESPN cameo irked the ish outta me, and his voice works my nerves as well. Again thats just me..No hate intended.
Backstreet freestyle was pure garbage and you honestly can't tell me it wasn't. Like I said...I listened to his stuff. He does sound good on featured tracks though i'll give him that. At the end of the day..not my type of rapper. The double tracking effect...Like he's chanting...Thats got to go too.
Believe me...I get the messages he sends out and his music is not over my head by any stretch. I can relate to what he talks about in his music, but his voice still annoys the hell outta me and thats the bottom line. That doesn't mean that his lyrics or anything else is bad. The Chipmunks annoy me too but I still watch the movie with my 4 year old.
At the end of the day KL has talent no doubt, but in my opinion he's a mainstream poor mans un-educated version of Deltron 30/30.
And as for credibility with you...No disrespect but why would I want credibility with you or anyone else on an internet forum?
My bad for steering off subject...It wont happen again.

Just because someone is better don't make the next man garbage. If Kendrick not your cup of tea that's cool. But to say worst in the game....over 2 Chainz, Chief Keefe, and Drake?! That's where my problem is at. You coulda picked out a lot of cats before you got to Kendrick.

To put this in perspective for the non hip hop folks on here. Dude basically just said something akin to Justin Blackmon is the worst receiver in the league, then cited numerous unknown receivers he thought was better based on their playing styles and his preferences. Many of which are buried on a depth chart somewhere and satisfy a very narrow skill requirement.
