Picks: 4th rd: #106 #109 5th rd #164 #166 6th rd -0- 7th rd #250 Hmm, still think there is a fair amount of talent on the board John Simon is interesting afaik he has not been drafted, in fact there are several named guys still hanging around. Shark Thomas, John Franklin, Dion Simms, Denard Robinson Robinson is interesting, maybe Josh Cribbs jr?
Here is my BPA board for day #3: Qb: Barkley/Nassib LT: Bakthiari/X Nixon DE: Cornelious Washington/Alex Okafor/D Taylor/Bass S: Shamarko Thomas/Phillip Thomas Cb: Jordan Poyer/Webb TE: Fauria/Dion Simms (blocking Te) KR/ST: Denard Robinson/Dunn Wr: Ryan Swope Wr: Q Patton All in all, lots of talent still on the table, UDFA class this year is going to be Epic as there is little difference between rd #4 guys and UDFA's this year imo. Just go with speed Ireland, speed and productivity.
And toss Landry Jones on that list. Scheftie is saying teams will move up for Barkley, we are sitting at #106, the Jets pick, we have no 6th rd picks, so don't be surprised
David Bakthiari Xavier Nixon Quinton Patton Da'Rick Rogers Dion Sims Alex Okafor Maybe Brandon McGee or Sanders Commings as values, granted we already drafted 2 Cbs Shamarko Thomas Barrett Jones John Simon
I like McGee a lot, Simon went late yesterday forgot to whom though. Phillip Thomas as well, and watch NOLA move up to take Barkley
Keep in mind this round is fast, as in 7 minutes and usually picks come in much more quickly. I like Suzy Kolber on coverage today
Looking forward to it, would love one of Okafor or Patton first up, after that people like Poyer, Swope, Webb, Sims and a kicker would be lovely.
There have been some interesting selections this draft! Barkley better start running if he hopes to keep up with that offence.
Lol @ Barkely. Proves 2 things - It's never a good idea for a guy projected to go in the top 5 to stay in school. I hope whoever talked him into staying feels real ****ty about themselves. Reinforces how little some of these talking heads and even NFL GMs really know. Last year so many matter of fact statements about what a great prospect he was, almost as good as Luck, blah blah blah. Opinions that you wouldn't think one off year would change so drastically. This year he's being discussed so casually as if he's always been a mid round candidate. As if these same talking heads never made sweeping statements about how amazing he was. Just hilarious and really sad at the same time. Anyone wanna crunch the numbers on how much it cost Barkely to be cool and stay in school?
Sanders would have been a very good compliment to out wr corps but I don't think he was ever on the radar. I predict We take phillip thomas
