An 18 yr old is not emotionally or mentally able to keep up with a 40 yr old. The lack of life experiences, for one, is a big deal in this case. A 40 yr old can manipulate, at best, a teenager. Nothing good can come from this for this teenager.
Let's turn the question around, if your 18 year old daughter came home with a guy like CIF, how would you react? I probably would need to call a lawyer since I'd be plotting ways to get rid of him "discreetly". When my brother was 40, he was dating girls in their early 20s, the difference was he looked like a model and could get dates from anyone at any age, he was just lazy and all the young nurses were throwing themselves at him. CIF looks like a guy that goes young because he has no other choice. I assume they like his IROC-Z as he pulls up to the high school.
Heh, my daughter would not leave the house until she had to attend her arranged marriage. In all seriousness, from my pov, at 18 if she's out of school then she will have to make such choices sooner or later. There is an idea in the world that such choices are never talked about and to me, that is foolish. As for being 40, compared to say 22, no job, just smoked one before coming inside would impress me far far less. Say what one will about CiF, at least he's learned something about responsibility the 22 yr old cat for the most part is just driven by hormones.
