Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

I'm going to spend way too much on gear in the next few months.

So the orange of the practice pants is going away as well...

 

I want those, but the nose on that dolphin looks weird.

 

There is something wrong with the photo. The sunbursts at 1 o'clock shoot right as well.

 

The ratio of the stripe is flawless. From a distance it looks to just be a 3D aqua with an orange glow to it. It's mesmerizing. Love the logo, love the helmet even more. I had been pushing for a white facemask for years too. So I like to think I played a very small role in that change.

All I ever wanted was the white mask and some modern stripes. So I couldn't be happier. Except......... they got lazy on the jerseys, but now that we've changed its not as hard to tweak and add a cool stripe on the sleeve at some point. That authentic game Jersey (Nike elite) is just soooo white, not even an aqua collar ? It's clearly missing something.

 

Do not adjust your set.
That is a 3D model of actual short pants, in the flesh.. or without, if you will.

 

Anyone know what the White hat is made out of? Cotton, Wool or some type of synthetic? If it's Cotton I'm buying two!

The dolphin on the helmet is a lot more parallel than what some feared.

To me, the simplicity of the jersey is part of the beauty. I actually like the logo on the sleeve because it is smaller and not overpowering. It leaves the sleeve looking cleaner. I love the look personally.

 

on facebook everyone is griping saying they hate the new logo. I just do not see how it is possible to think the cartoon dolphin with a helmet without a facemask is better than the new logo. the new logo is sleak and modern. It is 100000x better than the old logo.

 

me too. this looks clean, sleak, and modern. the new unis and logo are PERFECT. I am just afraid the dolphins facebook page which is funded by the miami dolphins will see all the negative comments. I don't want them to even think about changing the logo back to the old. I LOVE the new unis and logo.

 

Zero chance we change our logo back. We would have to wait 5 years, and by the time that happens, the dust will settle, and people will grow to like this one/get over not liking it

 

The helmets on the field in action look stunning.

 

The logo has really grown on me the past few weeks. I really liked seeing it all over the draft and it looks great on the new hat that was delivered yesterday. And as for the uniforms I feel they hit a home run. I love the way they look and they will look sick flying all over the field come August.

 

why would we have to wait 5 years?

 

NFLs rule about changing uniform/logo. A team can only change their uni/logo every five years.

Although minor tweaks are allowed, like if we wanted to change striping patterns...

 

and changing the drop shadow like we did years before. If we wanted, we could have changed the logo years ago.

Any new news on when the authentic or elite jerseys are coming out. Getting a white Tannehill and I can't decide between Jones, Jordan, Keller and Wallace for the aqua one!

all these people complaining about the new logo on facebooks miami dolphins page are pissing me off. bunch of white trash guys complaining that the new logo sucks. the new logo is modern and sleek but the white trash on facebook think it should be some corny crap.

 

can't wait for people to get over it already. its not going to change. The reaction is not as negative as it looks on facebook. A lot of people actually like the logo

 

It sucks right ...it's just blantantly Contrived criticism.

 

It'll grow on them over time... Lots of people hated the last logo when Jimmy implemented it. The helmet colors and stripe still look much lighter than the new aqua on the jerseys that the rookies were wearing. That seems a bit odd, yes?

 

I went to Purdue haha gotta pull for Keller....right after I decided I was going there I bought a Purdue #28 jersey which was his a week later he got drafted by the Jets, I'm excited I actually finally get to root for him haha

 

The practice gear the rookies n much of the caches is from last years uniform. The only new thing they're wearing is obviously the helmets. Hopefully the next camp they'll have new gear w the correct colors.

 

The shorts, yes. The jerseys look like they have the new number fonts... Dunno, maybe they printed them at the facility with what was at hand too... you can see the new font on the jerseys, but the aqua doesn't match...

 

I saw an episode of the NFL networks version of hardknocks, last year was with the browns, and it showed the equipment lady doing her thing and I agree with cuchulainn. Basically she had a ton of blank jerseys and then just printed everything on them when new players cycled in and out. my guess is the got the template for the new number fonts but still have the old jersey material left over from last year.

Funny ford explorer story for you. Back in the 1990s I had a hunter green Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition. It had a pin stripe down the side with the Eddie Bauer signature on the front doors. I pull into Home Depot one day and this lady is doing double takes between me and the car. Finally, she comes running up to me and asks "Are you the Eddie Bauer?"
