refreshing to get some love, also a little film of Dion Jordan working out at the Rookie Camp from the weekend http://www.nfl.com/videos/miami-dolphins/0ap2000000167526/AFC-East-draft-grades-by-Willie-McGinest and another tidbit about the stadium, nothing new though http://www.nfl.com/videos/miami-dol...-stadium-upgrades-put-on-hold?continuous=true
Gotta say his lankiness concerns me. Honestly if I did not know it was Dion Jordan in that segment I would have thought it was a WR working out.
I wish we had a WR his size. NFL.com has JT at 6'6, 244 pounds. They have Dion Jordan at 6'6, 248 pounds.
I don't know ... comparing him with pictures of JT from early in his career I don't see a lot of difference. I don't know why Reef, his athleticism in short spaces is quick and compact, him looking lanky to you is an illusion..lol, I don't want that to come across that I'm not valuing your opinion just that his body is wired differently, and the length he possesses can make someone think that his movement will subsequently reflect lanky movement...it won't, because he's a quick twitch athlete with incredible length, very rare.
I watched the NFL broadcast of the draft, and during it, they'd constantly cut to 3 guys discussing the picks, and one of them was McGinnest. I was very impressed by Willie. He's easily one of the best ex-player commentators on TV.
Dion Jordan's current weight/build is not going to be his playing weight/build. Both Dion and the Dolphins have said they intend to bulk him up a bit, and that is one of Dion's personal goals for this year. I believe he was battling an injury prior to the draft which meant he could not work out, and thus has led to his smaller size.
