D Rose literally cant win. If he plays 10-12 minutes a night why cant he play 20? 30? If he doesnt play he gets panned for it. If he plays well and the team loses then hes "disrupting the chemistry". If he plays poorly and the team loses "its his fault". Theres no scenario Rose can win unles she plays well and the team wins or the media in chicago will keep killing him. Whats funny is he and Iman Shumpert got injured 15 minutes apart and Iman's been back for 4 months even if he is just now really starting to resemble the player we saw last year.
I almost felt sorry for him.... Then I realized its this same spotlight that has put 200 million dollars in his pocket.
Thing with Rose...say you're not coming back this year, and the spotlight is off. But when it's all "gsme to game" "up in the air" "feeling it out" fans get anxious. And I don't blame them. It's his fault. If he says he won't come back let's day in March, nobody questions him, even if he does. As for the loss. I expected HEAT in 5. I still do.
After all these years...that long layoff still means the same thing. Even in the regular season with just a 4 day rest. The Heat could not throw it in the ocean from 3 feet away. What this tells me...you don't want to play a team that brings it every night after a layoff. They will make you fold. The Heat did.
Talk about pressure, Knicks lose game 2 at home and it's goodbye playoffs. How they play tonight will say a lot about who they are as a team.
They are a threat in the sense that they are professional athletes and if we play poorly like last night, they can beat us.
I would feel really good about the Knicks tonight. Some anomalous occurrences in GM 1. Knicks should win this game. Series however..... I picked Indy. This series is gonna be great.
I just disproved the multiverse theory. It would require a universe where the Knicks win it all every year.
Yep, almost simultaneously. I really believe Rose is just looking out for his future more than anything.
15 minutes apart. Shumperts been back for 4 months Im still going Knicks in 6 Heat in 5 (6 if rose plays G3 and after and is effective) Spurs in 6 Memphis in 7 A few things regarding NYK... Amare is looking probable for Game 3. Its important because if you watched G1 the Knicks were running pick and rolls effectively the first half and in to the early 3rd. After that the Pacers adjusted and basically kept Hibbert in the lane and dared Chandler to shoot jumpers. If you run Amare at the 5 for stretches, Hibbert has to come out and guard Amare cause he CAN hit jumpers. Another reason its important is cause the Pacers have dry spells for stretches. If you hit em with some quick offense they usually cant score with you. The Knicks defense was pathetic anyway as Indy was shooting 54% well in to the 3rd before they went completely dry. Then Melo and the Knicks went nuts and they were done. Pressure them with serious offensive players and they struggle.
I really wish the Knicks had Mike Conley. .Memphis was very wise to extend him. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, and even then when the stage was the biggest...he played his best. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Funny I dont follow the NBA except for Celtic hate, but I am a CBB honk as you know.....Never forget a dude who played in CBB.....
Miami beating up on Chicago right now, the injuries are starting to take a toll for the bulls, hinrich, deng and there is some speculation that rose will be back on saturday
Heat still would winGame 3 by 45 if Rose was playing and effective. Thats just how great we are. /Uberhomer.
On Cowherd today Tim Legler said the Heat won't blow Chicago out in any game this series, they play that tough. I'm sure someone will call him out for being wrong while speaking so matter of factly.
yeah chalmers is a clown always has been but noah also came off the bench to get in a refs face when he got tossed that's suspension worthy by the dumb nba rules
