Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

That's interesting. I wonder if they're taking the fan's feedback into consideration and are thickening the orange outline a little.

 

Oh man it looks so much better that way. One could hope but I doubt it based on they already have Wallace and Tannehill jerseys sold and they are the thin orange. I think its a messed up photoshop job.

 

It's a botched Photoshop job, compare the #95 jersey with the quick-view of the draft jersey (the #1 jersey) on the same page and one can clearly see the difference.

 

Don't change anything about the new uni, it's perfect to me as is..thin orange strip is the way to go..

 

Well lets say if its an updated look, then the 1 jersey would still have the thin jersey, because it was out before the new think stripe. But I do agree, its most likely a botch photoshop job

 

Don't like it with the thicker orange line. Either way, they definitely couldn't change it at this point.

 

Actually, this is the best looking Tee out there... would be even better if the lined the letters with both the darker blue and the orange...

Absolutely they can, it's a minor tweak to numbers that teams always do (like when we lessened the drop shadow), very often after unveiling new uniforms...

 

I prefer the thinner stripe too. I own a new Tannehill jersey and the orange stripe on that one is certainly more like the thin one on the #1 Jordan jersey. I think it was just a photoshop error.

 

Why is it not likely?

I expect all of you that were not satisfied with our logo before will grow tired with the new one as well in short order.
It's just the way it is.
There is a section of a fan base that will always just want change for change.

All it takes is one person within the organization to want to redesign it all over again to get the fringe fans all wound up.

 

I don't see any reason for that belief. I didn't grow tired of the old logo. I saw it as silly from the beginning. I just dealt with it b/c it was my favorite team. Despite that I still have far too much apparel and items with the old logo. Over time I will continue replacing it with the new logo stuff. If anything I'm more likely to buy Dolphin merchandise b/c the logo is no longer a cartoon and b/c the orange has been minimized.

 

I've asked quite a few fan what they think of the new logo and most responses were negative until I showed them both logos side by side. As an IT guy I know first hand that 90% of people are dead set against change of any kind. Once they open their mind they usually come around.

I never liked the old logo. It looked about as ominous Deputy Dawg.

 

Absolutely! I see posts about people wanting change for change sake (and similar sentiments), but that is just not the norm in human nature. That thinking is far and away the minority. Anybody who has ever studied human nature knows that resistance to change is the norm.

 

I never rock gear unless I'm going to the game, this new sh)), I will rock the gear, the logo and colors I see not just for my team but as a symbol as well for the city, I think it's cool and I am the perfect dolphin target demographic, and I'm cool as sh&$..lol

Just went to the App Store and it's still the same as what I have on my iPad. Are you talking about the Miami Dolphins HD app?

 

App is updated for my iPhone. Might not be updated for iPad yet?

 

After letting it all marinate in my head for a couple weeks, I still dont care much for the logo (Its still the pose that gets me) but Im really digging the uniform design. Could use more orange but overall I like it.

 

There is a number 12 next to my app icon..I don't have many apps on my iPad because of my phobia..I did download the dolphin app though, but it kept coming up sideways on my iPad so I deleted it, the rest are games for kids..oh, and I downloaded Pandora, that's a cool app..especially when your entertaining the ladies...

OS stands for operating system I presume.

 

i went to the App Store and punched in Miami dolphin app and the old logo came up, so, I'll just wait on that.

 

TimBo can still go into the Ring of Honour without having his number retired (see Clayton, Mark etc.).

 

Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor are both in the Ring of Honor and their Jerseys are not Officially Retired, Even though I am pretty positive no one has worn 54 or 99 since they both retired

 

When I first saw this post, I swore it said "Just ordered my Tannehill jersey and some pumps!"

that 12 stands for 12 updates available for the apps you have already installed on your iPad, just click the app store button...press on updates and then depending which iOS Version you still have on your iPad....LOL...just look for the update all button somewhere....you crack me up bro

Alex, I knew that the 12 stood for how many updates, I just never click on it..lol...I'm gonna do it now though...I had a bad experience with an update on a computer before which is probably where it comes from, that and literally breaking 6 computers in a three year time frame..

 

Tried on one of the new dark jerseys today. I didn't buy it because I would prefer Tannehill over Wallace.
The guy said they should be getting a Tannehill in soon. If you haven't seen these up close or had one on yet you are missing out.
These things are fuggin' slick as hell. The color is beautiful and the jersey screams speed. I love them!

 

I feel ya Nez..I'm not sure some folks even understand how well done they are, some are too busy being hurt that they changed the puke green we've been wearing, or the logo, to appreciate the great job and vision Nike did for us..it is really cool.

There is a glimpse or two of our uni in action, or what Mike Wallace will look like lining up on Sundays. I have to say, the new unis and colors are beautiful. They are super clean, streamlined and electric. Nothing fancy, they just say, "We mean business".

yeah i saw that, question is also if they leaked the orange uni by accident at the 0:28 mark on that page or if this was just some examples they had to work with
