Saw the midnight premiere and liked it even more than the 2009 reboot. Pine and Quinto show a lot of depth, the whole ensemble has great chemistry and the storytelling is quite good. Still accessible to Trek neophytes, it has some delicious references and mutations for the fans. Highly recommended.
Never was a Star Trek fan despite my worship of "The Shat". But I loved the reboot and am looking forward to this one.
Looking forward to seeing this on the big screen. BTW, everyone better be a fan of the Shat. He is the only one that could possibly take down Chuck Norris, possibly. Then again, have you ever seen them both together????? Think on it!
Got to see it last night, and it was awesome!! From beginning to end, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I will prolly go watch it again this weekend. Story is well written and I thought it flowed very well.
Saw it yesterday afternoon and really liked it as well. Not sure if I liked it better than the reboot, but it was good.
Saw Shatner's World in Connecticut last December. Eighty two friggin years old and he spoke onstage for two hours without taking a drink of anything. I see standup comedians who can't go onstage for a 20 minute set without two bottles of water. Along with Rush, the greatest thing to come from Canada. Shat is God.
Bah....this is the REAL Shatner.
Oh, you want to have a Shat off huh? I'm not sure I have time today, but I will see your Shatner and raise you a Shatner.
Other than one scene where that almost caused my eyes to pop out of my head from rolling so hard, I enjoyed the movie. Despite its many, many, many, many problems, it was a fun action film.
Saw it tonight. Really enjoyed the twists, and the references to the past. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Just saw it. Damn that was a good movie, even if they gave away the ..... part because of Bones experimenting on the .........
