Since we haven't had a great offense since the Oliver North scandal am curious as to who other fans would have on this kind of list.

    my list would be .

    #1 RB Ricky Williams

    #2 TE Randy McMichael

    #3 RB Lamar Smith

    #4 WR O.J McDuffie

    #5 WR Chris Chambers

    #6 WR Wes Welker

    #7 RB Ronnie Brown

    #8 QB GUS F.

    #9 RB Reggie Bush

    #10 OT Jake LONG

I put Randy McMichael #2 because he had great stats plus he was the only player who stood up to Wanny

    Might think of Chad Pennington.

He took the team through its best season in the past 10 years spectacular or not he managed the games very well until he turned to glass.

    He was a great leader.

Scratch Gus F. Replace with Chad Pennington. Add Orande Gadson , I also think Tim Ruddy was a solid Center. Made the Pro Bowl in 2001.

Thats because the team and QB sucked but you could see the talent there ....except the GM and coach did not see it .

BTW he did kick a FG ,True story

I would put Bush second and Pennington third on this list. They were much more effective in their short time in Miami than all the rest of the players you listed combined. McDuffie was a very productive player early in his career, but in 1999 and 2000, he was merely a shell of his former self on the football field.

Welker was a very average player for the Dolphins and was known more as a punt returner than a WR while he played in Miami.

I think Gaston and Chambers belong on this list at the WR position, but putting two TE's on this list only shows how little talent this team had over those years.

I have no idea how Gus Frerotte could make a top ten list for the Dolphins. Like him or not, Jay Fiedler was a much better QB for the Dolphins than Frerotte.

Ditto on Pennington. In the past decade + our offense never saw better numbers under any other QB. The Wildcat certainly helped, but Pennington deserves the lion's share of the credit. Here's some numbers from a thread I penned a few years ago when everyone was yacking about how Pennington was "limiting" the offense:

The bolded numbers are high marks. Too lazy to add in 2009 - 2012, but take my word for it when I say 2008 was better.

    http://www.thephins.com/forums/show...on-Limiting-our-Offense-Numbers-say-otherwise

Edited to add: Reading back through that thread was fun. I miss l2g...

Sorry about that, I meant Glasden and for some reason I spelled our Gaston. It isn't easy getting old and forgetting the names of players who played for your team in the last 10 years. Oh well, at least getting old is better than the alternative.

What? You don't remember when Gladsen caught that pass from Fiddler? Gladsen and Mcdilfie were really solid receivers for us. As was Calmers. But my favorite player from that era was Zeke Thomas.
I'm not the only one that loves some Zeke, in fact, our very own poster SICK, named his son Zeke Thomas Cruller.

Someone with more than 20 catches and 11 first downs in his two seasons here? I mean I'm a huge Hartline detractor but I'd put him on this list first.

I remember. He kicked a FG and a kickoff I believe, and returned one. First time ever or something.

You could see the talent. But still, he didn't do much here to be put in the top 10 or anything. I'd put Ginn ahead of him actually.
