Irish's trademark...churning the bottom, keep looking for the next Davone Bess or Reshad Jones, coming from either late rounds or UDFA to become contributors...

 

Lots of bodies at the guard spots in camp this year. Incognito, Jerry, D. Thomas, Louis, Barker, Burden, and B. Thomas. Josh Samuda and Nate Garner have experience there as well.

I'll wager that 3 of the first 4 names; Incognito, Jerry, Dallas Thomas, and Louis are who Miami brings into week 1. Who is the odd man out? Incognito (salary), Jerry (weight issues), Louis (ACL recovery). Hard to see Dallas Thomas being cut.

 

Former Aggie coached by turner and Sherman..I would trust anything Jim turner told me.

 

Does anyone have more information on Thomas? The guy didn't meet Tuberville's conditioning program at Texas Tech at the time he quit. Yet he started for two seasons at A&M. Something doesn't jive. Even the Texas Tech folks said he outperformed everyone during one practice but just had too many physical issues. What happened between being suspended for the bowl game by A&M his junior year and transferring to the Red Raiders? And the coach that suspended him is in the picture again?

 

he's talented maybe, but pissed off the coach, now a 2nd chance in the NFL?

Lets put it this way. You have more of a chance of having a sex change operation then this team cutting Incognito.

 

I still think Jerry is not long for this world.

 

Is Thomas listed with the Guards or the Tikles? Thomas because of his utility could be eyeing that Nate Garner spot and I think he was playing at Tikle in OTAs.

 

I know we may not have the strongest tackles in the world, but do we really need to resort to that in order to block them?
