Don't do it. You're not guaranteed good acid. These labs don't give a damn whether you live or die. There's no FDA. The old labs used to mix the acid with speed and a bit of strychnine in barrel for the up effect and body rushes. Strychnine is excreted very slowly, and with sequential dosing can act as a cumulative poison. The thing with acid is that you can't predict how it's going to affect you. You're gambling. Stick to weed if you must do any drugs at all. I, of course, never did acid. This is all rumor. But if you're doing it anyway, do microdot or window pane before you do barrel, and if you must do barrel, start with a quarter tab. If you get too speedy, find another supplier.
I've done acid and the trip wasn't as good as shrooms. It might have been bad acid or I didn't take enough, though. I saw a few trails and stuff, but that was it. I've had shrooms several times and it was great every time. We made tea with them. It's been about 20 years since I've done that stuff. Make sure you're in a good frame of mind, and so is anybody else you're doing them with. You don't want some paranoid, negative person on your trip. If you can get reliable stuff, and are with good people, it's a good time.
I agree w the stick to the mush crowd. X and acid are just too risky when it comes to knowing who made it w what. I agree for sure w people's suggestions for calmness and planning. If you don't do that then you're asking for things to go wrong.
had plenty of friends take it back in high school... they did that and coke (not together haha)... . I however, did neither. Don't need some drug to make me trip. LSD makes you have super power status vision, no joke. Back in my mid 20's I had a local bar I hung out in. I knew all the bartenders pretty well, anyway I talked one of them into giving me some, but told him to put it my drink when he thought the time was right and not to tell me. He had quite a bit of experience with it, I had zero. True story. So I'm sitting there when I noticed a guy across the bar who had really big bugs crawling on him. They were all over him, face, head, arms etc. The guy left because I was staring and laughing at him. So the next day after an unbelievable sleep I see the bartender again and he informs what happened. I'm pretty sure the guy really had bugs on him that only I could see in high definition. So its definitely great for vision and sleep. The fact I didnt know I was tripping helped me not to have any pre-LSD tension or worry.
Sick, I dont know why you would drop acid or do anything that endangered your health when you have a wife and kids that depend on you. The time to do that passed when college ended when you had no responsibilities. All it takes is 1 bad tab. Personally, I never did either acid or shrooms. I smoked some weed back in college but I guess most people do. I have a personality where basically once I try something I tend to overdue it if I like it so I was always kinda scared to try everything else. Kinda like the first time I really got bombed on alcohol I drank a 30 pack of bud light and had another half dozen shots of hard liquor. Ill never forget that cause I actually walked home from my buddies place about a half mile away feeling somewhat sober then woke up at 3PM from the night before...never really felt a thing. So you can understand my apprehension...
Of course it says something about my friends. It's no different than most people. Most people don't have the common sense on knowing when to say when. that was my whole point.
similar to my first trip. Didn't know I was tripping while in the car, took another hit. got in a freaky night club (had MC Escher paintings all over the walls and floor) and when a friend walked In the bathroom, I said "man, what are those purple spots all over your neck!". then I realized, hmm, must be tripping now.
A friend of mine did acid and he woke up in some musty basement naked with a bloody anus. Stick to beer Holmes.
Well, I tripped once..that is to say..spent an entire weekend tripping balls and watching movies. Have to laugh a little when I read "took one hit" I took..goodness..could not tell you how much acid I would up taking. Did not sleep for the entire 3 days..interesting time but wouldn't do that stuff again. It was interesting watching the walls breathe and the ceiling tiles light up like disco lights..BUT had nowhere to go that weekend, was in a good frame of mind, no way would I have walked out that door in that condition. I had -0- responsibilities, unlike you Sick, that's why I'd not recommend it for you. Just grind some fresh nutmeg, mix it with coffee..once the sickness from the mace in the nutmeg goes away..maybe the isomystricin in it will make you trip...drugs..bleech
Sick, you've already gotten the right advice in this thread. If you wanted to try acid, that opportunity has long since passed you by. It's not the drug to try with a family that needs you and cares about you. It has the ability to PERMANENTLY **** you up bad. I don't think you want to risk that. I've never tried mushrooms so can't comment on whether it's a viable alternative. Here's my one and only horribly bad acid trip just because it's pretty funny looking back: I started off in a dorm room with my friends. They had finally talked me into trying acid. I was more a getting drunk, sometimes high type of scene. But ended up trying most drugs in college that didn't involve needles or a crack pipe. But seemed like all my buddies were having a good time on acid, so why not? I dropped it on my tongue and first thing I asked was, "Is it too late to turn back?" It was. And the fact that I still had apprehension going into a trip was not a good thing. But in the beginning I was having fun. I just felt like I was really high. Running around all over campus having a great freaky tripping time. One of our hippy friends had advised us all to bring along a little keepsake for the "trip". I had chosen a toy Ewok figurine that a buddy had bought at Walmart for some unknown reason. As we walked across the field I took out the Ewok, looked at it for a long time and showed it to the girl next to me. "Check out my Ewok". She stared at it like it was the anti-Christ and swatted it out of my hand. And thus started my downward spiral into a really bad trip. A friend rolled a couple of blunts and I thought getting really high might put me in a better place. It made things worse. Next we went to the dining hall. I had heard drinking milk could nullify things a bit, so I was chugging milk as fast as I could nearly crushing the glass with my fist in the process. All I could hear in the packed dining hall was laughter, and it seemed like everyone was laughing at me. I kept asking nobody in particular, "What if it never ends?" Everyone could tell things were going very badly for me, so being the good friends they were they dumped me off back in the dorms and continued on lest I ruin their good trip. My saving grace that night was a sick friend who knew his way around every drug in the book. He knew what I was going through and how to get me calm. He played video games and fed me candy till the acid wore off. The local dorm idiot who rented out videos almost ruined the whole thing when he stopped by to get his copy of Top Gun. I cowered in the corner clutching a swiss army knife. I literally thought he was the devil. "Now's not a good time man." When he asked again, my friend insisted he get the hell out of there. I eventually felt perfectly normal, then we went and got drunk. Had he not been sick, he would have been tripping with the rest of them, and I don't know what would have happened. To this day I still thank him for saving my life that night. The next morning I felt terrible. A terrible anxiety had set in, and I spent the next 2 or 3 weeks having panic attacks. Eventually I snapped out of it. But it was a long slow process. I never touched another hallucinogenic again.
man....I always said...I would chow some shrooms again. But...my kids would have to be with their mom or something. I tripped just after a snow storm...and walked around this amazing....winter crystal wonderland that you cannot possibly imagine. Just me personally...but if you take care of things...and be responsible about it.....I think trippin on shrooms is safer then getting blitzed on whiskey. I remember the next day feeling that it was almost a religious experience...

I hope no kids are reading this thread. If they see grown men talking about how cool illegal, dangerous drugs are they may try to emulate them.
Well, I've hung out with a younger crowd this past year and the one thing they respect above all is just plain honesty, the flat statements of the past "don't do drugs!" to them, sounds like one is being dishonest or trying to control their actions. Far better to be completely honest, the sort of grace of years past in not knowing is all but gone. This is the downside to the internet age Justright, so let us not hide behind platitudes and shibboleths and just tell it like it is. A good example of the sort of bizzareness that is America atm, if one watches a action film Mark Wahlberg will hose a room full of bad guys with a mp5 but the word "****" will be edited out. Pulp Fiction was even worse, Jules Winfield will shoot some guy in sitting in a chair but heaven forbid a f-bomb be used? Do they even realize how silly that is?
