That's the crazy part of all the anger about the fans that left...it was really only a couple hundred of them. Look at how full the stadium looks when they pan around after Ray's shot. Clearly SOME have left, but also pretty clear like 98% of them are still there.

It's all part of the Heat adverse narrative. It was a bigger deal because the Heat came back and won. No one would have said squat if they had lost.

Also, remember after that moron Pacers announcer spouted that crap about the fans leaving, and the very next game trailing by 10 with like 7 minutes left in the game, Pacers fans started flocking out of their arena? Yeah, no one said squat about that. Double standard methinks.

 

When you're the most dominant force in the league by far, it naturally draws that sort of thing.

Interesting debate -

In the last 20 years, the Heat are behind the Bulls' 3-peat and the Lakers' 3-peat. Ahead of pretty much everyone else -

But what about that Lakers' back-to-back champ squad? Both teams averaged 60 wins over a 3-year span (or the equivalent - since the strike-shortened season last year). Made 3 Finals' appearances, losing their first and winning the next two.

Lakers probably lost to a better team (Celtics vs Mavs)

The Heat beat a better team (Thunder vs Magic)

And the other win is probably a wash (Lakers beat Celtics, Heat beat Spurs)

I'm guessing most here are going to say Heat - is the 27 game win streak the tipping point?
