Maybe they see a poor man's Chris Bosh, with all of these picks the real bottom line is playing time. I like Larkin, think he will be a steal.
I really don't understand Boston. They're going into rebuilding mode, yet trade away a top 3 coach and a great developer of talent? Makes no sense.
No one knows that, these guys are coming into the league with little college experience, and with little idea how much they will see the floor in the NBA. This has been one of the Spurs secrets over the years btw.
If the coach doesnt want to go through a rebuilding phase what else can you do? Like with any employee you could hold him to his contract but he could just retire for 2 years and then youre stuck with squat. At least taht way they got a late 1st
Olynyk came out as a JR. If youve watched him for 3 years, you know he cant play a physical game AT ALL. he disappears. His nickname should be ghost. At best hes a 2nd big off the bench meaning he barely cracks the 10 man rotation.
Did he really want out? I felt it was more a Rondo thing, meaning no Rondo, River stays. I would rather rebuild with Rivers coaching than with Rondo leading.
Or they toss him out on the floor and see what he is made of, and didn't Bosh score -0- pts in that gm 7 thing?
Yes. He was on the fence after the Knicks-celtics series and then he met with ainge and was going to take time off unless he was let out of the deal or moved to the clippers. If he wanted a rebuilding situation maybe he would have asked to go to new orleans so he could coach his son? Guess hes a bosh fan afterall. He was a PG before his growth spurt much like Anthony Davis last year. Ok, good luck with that. Sorry I didnt see this til now, i was blinded when i looked them up. Lets hope Dieng, Hardaway or Tony Mitchell are the guys we look at.
Hate that Larkin is going to the Mavs. Keep in mind, this is a very weak draft, if they see some potential in a big man they'll role the dice on a 7 ft guy.
If it were me, i would. Can never have too many good centers. Especially ones that are hard working shot blockers.
Boik..maybe Olynk is like Charles "Charmin" Smith... Will never forget him being packed 3 times under the rim with time running out w/a chance to score the GW or gametiming bucket.
He is a 3 foot and in shooter no real like hook game or step back. But the guy ain't getting pushed around and crashes glass.....his wingspan in like a runway.
He worked on that jumper though and it did get better as the year went on. he can extend to about the foul line...
Plumlee is falling too far, I think he is due soon.....next 2 picks. Guy that the Celts should have picked over long hair if you know they were smart.....
Ainge is not a good evaluator of draft talent imo. Plumlee could be in play for NYK. They need height.
I know the Knicks like Nate Wolters as well. I consider him a 2nd round talent...wouldnt be surprised if they grab a 2nd round pick in a deal for Steve Novak (thats a rumor btw) to take Wolters.
