Well - he is unliked - so that gets some of the response here. That doesn't make him a big deal. I read some of his stuff early on but then stopped completely. Can't recall last time I read anything of his except by accident. But, it is also the slowest time of the year for football so there's not much else to talk about. Look at the other topics on the board - either blase' stuff or topics that have already been hashed out to death. It's sheer boredom time so this gets way more air time.
I don't get the Omar hate. Guy works hard, supplies lots of info. If people disagree wth some of his opinions, so what? BTW, had article in the paper on Binns yesterday, so he is still with the SS. As I already mentioned, vacation.
The problem with Omar isn't his work ethic, it's his attitude towards people. I don't dislike Omar, but I can see why people do. He definitely has a holier-than-thou attitude and acts like we should be worshiping him for his information.
