Pink Dolphins are also code for Ecstasy...or Thizz as they called it in the Bay. Given the popularity out there...I'd guess its alluded to that.
There are actually pink dolphins (Hong Kong for example). Not sure that's what the clothing line is referencing, but just pointing it out. And you can kind of tell it's not Miami. The Cali sand and water aren't as nice.
Anybody will notice if what they have on matches like a clown outfit but worrying about the color coordination of your ballcap might be trending slightly toward metro.
White with a hint of pink, a common mammal flesh color really. People just want to call them pink, even photoshopping pics of normal dolphins.
Matching your clothes is fine... but in my circles chicks will laugh at you for matching hat and shoes, socks to your attire. I have a co-worker that has a pair of nikes/hat for every shirt/shorts. Socks to boot. Too funny. I often go out of my way to not match, but i guess that's just my style. I like wrinkles too. So wearing a random team for the colors is comical to me. "Dude whats with the Panthers gear?" "What, you cant see my toenails are electric blue?" best. post. ever.
My point is, I don't see him having to adjust his game, when you can threaten from the pocket and run the read option, and have tremendous individual playmaking ability, to go along with those scheme talents, there are limitless possibilities, and when there isn't, like i said, he can make somethin happen all on his own, I think defenses will continue to have to adjust theirs, and his talents will keep him a step ahead.. The age and injury thing is a different story, one that I don't think about at this point when my franchise Qb is 23.
The way i see it... it was just a "haha, we beat up my crappy home team i never liked anyway.....they suck.... buy pink dolphin stuff though"...
Chances are....a dude that is a metrosexual isn't wearing fitted caps. Fitteds don't go well with chancletas and GAP shorts.
Actually that's a popular combo in south Florida. Even further.........Never understood... why is it called metrosexual if has nothing to do with sexuality ? I realize it involves incorporating methods used by the opposite sex... but the name implies your not hetero. Please don't answer this.
aside from dolphin fans discussin a 49er QB wearin dolphin gear, why are we talkin about what other men wear? sounds pretty homo to me.
Your putting a lot of effort into crying about it. You probably havent read the entire thread... not suprising.
yet you missed the coorelation in theory as to why he's wearing the dolphins gear.... pretty comical... you forgot pink dolphins too.... your contributions dont go unnoticed though.. good job.
oh yea, men's attire and pink dolphins. fantastic stuff. you all don't wear fitted hats or even match them. you wear cowboy hats and boots. we get it. he's wearin dolphins gear because......he likes the color scheme? have a nice day!
it is a little weird, if that is him, that he's wearing another team's colors. If I were a 49er fan, I wouldn't be too happy about it. Once you sign the contract with the team, you belong to that team. You are not allowed to be seen in public wearing other colors of the opposition. Similar to a Pepsi delivery truck driver drinking Coke in public...
Very weird.....keeping a low profile ? " Is that Kaepernick ? Nawwww... can't be ! " We all know he grew up a Packers/9ers fan. You can see why this is a question of "fashion"
Our opinions of him differ. I don't think he is a threat in a traditional pocket. He needs read options, play action, and his mobility. Take those three things away and can he be as great of a QB when he has to run a traditional offense? Maybe when, for example, he has a strained knee and defenses know he can't be a dual threat? His age doesn't matter. As soon as he loses his mobility and ability to use the read option as a crutch, how good will he be? We don't know yet. I can't say with conviction, and neither can you.
Says nothing about my fanhood. I rock Yankee caps too. Never rooted for the Yanks a day in my life. Its just part of the outfit. Judging by the fact that Kaep is wearing a Dolphins cap, I'm pretty sure he goes by the same rules. I rock Tigers caps, Philly caps, Pirates hats. To be truthful, I don't have ANY football caps. I was never a fan of the dryfit type of stuff. But I do applaud the more traditional fitteds that are out now now with newera. I probably wouldn't cop a Dolphins fitted unless I had enough stuff to wear with it. You guys might like wearing Dolphins caps with red and gold shoes....but that's just not my steez.
Pretty clean. I just copped the Dolphins Penny Vs last year. This was before the new jersey's came out and the colors changed, so now I need to cop some new kicks for the new colors. I kinda like the subtle aqua on these Brons. I'd likem in mids or highs tho. This was my gameday fit from the old jersey colors. Now I gotta start all over.
It says you got no fanhood. You'll wear whatever and whoever. You're a color whore. I wouldn't wear a Yankee or Jets hat for $1000.00 cash let alone to match my outfit.
You make it sound so dirty! But for a thousand bucks...I'll wear any jersey you want. I'd put on a Tom Brady jersey and the "TB" trademarked hat for a G. Maybe I am a whore
Nice set up Phinish. The Miami colors are becoming popular in shoes and fashion now. It will only get easier. You can virtually get shoes in any color you want now. Some crazy combos out there. I'm not a fan of high top, true basket ball shoes. The closest thing I have are these LBJ kicks, a little higher than my usual taste; Everything else, I have Air Max or Shocks typically.
Speaking of Air Maxes. I saw the new Air Max Express they had with the new Dolphins colorway, but they just look real boxy and bulky to me. I need something a little more sleek. I still might buy them tho.
My thoughts exactly! But like I said....that's a real tricky Aqua. Guess I'll have to wait on Nike to hook me up with some new kicks in that color.
