Was looking at some of the FA's available next year and wondered who would be a good fit.

WR Bryant Johnson-Arizona a 6'3 WR who runs great routes and is ready to step up his role as a number 1 or 2
OG-Alan Faneca-Pittsburgh- Pro Bowl player who is looking to leave current team
DE-Terrell Suggs-Baltimore should garner lots of interest in market but would be a great playmaker in 3-4
DT-Albert Haynesworth-Tenn. another impact player that can shore up the middle of a D-line
    CB-Marcus Trufant-Seattle-on everbody's wish list as we need a #1 CB badly.

Trufant is a good choice i like but i rather go with Amosagho (sp). Faneca might come cuz of porter and b/c he is a tough A hole whose mean kinda like mormino was during TC. Suggs i dono bout to be honest and Haynes will get tagged as said on ESPN and i belive so myself.

This draft is deep at the corner back position. Considering how much Trufant would want (and I see him as the cheapest of the top 3) I see us getting a young , talented , and cheaper , CB in the Draft.

I *have* to think Marcus Trufant gets the tag, unless I hear a very good reason why he will not.

Parcells will not sign on for Haynesworth. With Tuna here, character just became an even bigger hot button issue than when it was just Cameron and Mueller.

Faneca becomes a definite possibility. Sure as the sun comes up, Bill Parcells will tool with the offensive line. He's a huge believer in it.

I like Bryant Johnson, he could be a good cog.

Seattle is projected to have $9.55 million in free cap room before bonuses and such. If they franchise Trufant, they pretty much remove themselves from the free agent market. Not an EXCELLENT reason, but you have to wonder if they don't think they can let Trufant walk, land a free agent to help them out, and draft his replacement in a year with a very strong CB class. They also need some cap room to sign their rookie class.

It's amazing that a bunch of corners may come on the free agent market just as the draft finally offers some very good young guys.

Disagreed here. Faneca's got a one-way ticket to Arizona ready to go, and probably even has his jersey number picked out. If Faneca goes anywhere but Arizona, I'll be shocked. He wants to play for Whisenhunt and Grimm: it would take some serious cash to make him change his plans.

What about Patrick Crayton of the Cowboys? I think he would be a better option at receiver than Johnson.

Bryant Johnson would be good, a nice big target for whoever is playing QB next season. Other than that I think we look at the draft, Haynesworth will get resigned and so will Trufant.

Veteran Left Tackle Flozell Adams [move Carey back to RT].

    Patrick Crayton

    Trufant

    Everything else, through the draft.

Bryant Johnson would be great...Patrick Crayton would be great too considering Parcells is here now, im sure Parcells likes him.

Albert Haynesworth is a question mark...he only plays if he is payed well. So id rather take one of those DTs from Minnesota.

Marcus Trufant is probably the best option for us. No way are we able to get Asomugha. too much money.

Alan Faneca, is good....but we are really trying to get younger, not older. i wouldnt overspend for him though.

Terrell Suggs would be an excellent signing....i thought he was OLB?

Bryant Johnson and Gibril Wilson are two players I really want, out of those whom I actually think it would be realistic to sign.

I would say we could go after Max Starks if he is a FA, but I can't recall if he is in line to be or not.

I'd really, really be looking into the health of Gary Baxter. All chances are the guy is done and the injuries are too severe, but a workout can't hurt.

Crayton has stepped it up this year but I still don't see him as a number one receiver. He is also a little shorter than Johnson.

All I want is a bit DT(Corey Williams?) and a WR and maybe a TE....after that we'll be set for the draft....I think we should draft a corner in round 2 and I think Cason or Jenkins could be there for us.

    Ozzy rules!!

A lot of people thought he was overshadowed by Fitz and Boldin. I think of him as an all right WR, nothing really special. Has good height but is inconsistent. I'd rather have Hackett if it weren't for his injuries. We need height.

I wouldn't consider Johnson a #1 or 2 just yet. Faneca I'd like to see at LG. Suggs I'd like also but will probably be franchised (though they didn't for Adalius so I dunno). An alternative would be Karlos Dansby. Haynesworth is a headcase who's doing well only in his contract year. Trufant I think is an above average CB, not necessarily one of the top ones. And again, doing well in his contract year for an overpriced payday.
